I received the sample of 64 oz. Stain Preventer Calcium 2x Rid O' Rust for my review. I really like how easy it is to use this product. I like that this product is pet, plant and people safe when used as directed. I like how this product has kept my drip emitters calcium and scale free. This product has met all of my expectations and I will be using this product from now on.

This Stain Preventer Calcium 2X Rid O' Rust by Pro Products is easy to use and very effective to treat hard water mineral build up.
The water outside of my house was not been treated and I did not realize how serious it was until I have some sprinkler issues and found out several sprinkler heads were been partially blocked by the off-white calcium/mineral build-up. I end up adding a water tank in my backyard so I was able to treat the water before they go out of the system. Now I treat the water regularly with the Stain Preventer Calcium. Pro Products also has a “Dosage Calculator” on their website which makes the process much easier.

I received this and found it to be very effective in nearly eliminating all scale from my system....
I received this and found it to be very effective in nearly eliminating all scale from my system. I may need to increase my dosage but figured I would start on the low side and adjust it as required. I think it will totally eliminate any scale deposits once I increase the dosage. I would like to highlight the fact that this product is Pet safe and plant safe when used correctly. I would recommend it highly. Works as advertised.

American Hydro's Rid Rust calcium and scale preventer may be a good product for what it does, I don't know. By the brief description I thought it was like CLR and would eliminate rust, calcium, and scale but that is not what this does. In fact, after reading the directions on the bottle, you need to use their rust remover product first, then use this in a landscaping feeder system to neutralize the calcium in the water to prevent the stains. This wouldn't work on most home sprinkler systems because you need a feeder system, not just a timer and valves which is what most residential systems are. They say it's good for car dealerships and similar applications.
