Product Details

The PVC check valve permits water to flow in one direction within a line with the ProLine series 1/2 in. solvent x solvent PVC check valve. It acts as a backflow prevention device to prevent water from backing up into a municipal, residential or commercial water supply. This valve is built using a steel spring-loaded poppet to keep the valve shut until the needed pressure is reached to open the valve.
  • PVC construction for easy installation
  • For use with cold water only
  • Not for use with compressed air
  • Fits both Sch. 40 and Sch. 80 PVC pipe
  • Can be installed vertically or horizontally
  • Spring-loaded poppet ensures valve remains closed until opening pressure has been reached
  • Rated for 200 psi at 73°F

    Not good experience. It blew the union in the middle,...
    Not good experience. It blew the union in the middle, were there are threads, after only a month of usage. It's true we are having excessive water pressure but my gauge barely reads 80 psi max. on ocations and this is supposed to be rated at 200 psi. Think I'll have to use brass ones from now on.
