The ProLounger power lift updated traditional style recliner is covered in a herringbone fabric and allows you to rise out of your seat with ease while providing padding in all the right places for ultimate comfort. The infinite position recliner transitions between reclining, sitting and lifting and can stop at any position in-between with the easy to use wire attached remote. Covered in a durable, easy clean 100% polyester soft woven herringbone patterned fabric. Convenient side pocket provides a place to store the wired remote close at hand. My wife and I wanted to get a recliner to put in our family room and we thought it would be nice to have an electric lift chair for when we have elderly family or friends over. We decided to order the ProLounger Petite Power Recline and Lift Chair in Chocolate Brown Herringbone. Our hope was that it would be a comfortable chair and the lift would be a bonus for anyone that needs help to stand up from the chair. The chair arrived in a single box. The chair back was sitting on top of the base. Assembly was simply a matter of sliding the back onto the base and snapping it in. You then attach the power cord and you’re ready to go. The assembly was simple but the base is heavy so some people might need assistance moving it around. The first thing we noticed is that the seat seemed very small. The product literature says the lift mechanism can handle up to 300 pounds but I think the seat would be too small for someone at that weight. I sat in the chair and found the seat to be very firm and not comfortable for me. I am over 6 feet and the seat and back did not fit me very well. I then tried the mechanism to recline the chair and it works well albeit pretty slow. From a full reclined position to the lifted position took about 43 seconds. I then had my wife try the chair. She is about 5 feet tall and she did not find it very comfortable either. The chair seemed well made and the upholstery was in excellent condition. I think it is a decent chair for its’ purpose (helping to lift someone to a standing position) but it is just not very comfortable.

This lift chair helps the elderly stay in their home. Many senior citizens cannot use a non-powered recliner because their legs/knees are too weak to push the chair from the reclined to the upright position. This power chair eliminates that issue. Likewise, rising to stand from the seated position in any chair is slow and sometimes painful for senior citizens. Again, this power lift chair makes standing quite simple. Functionally, this chair performs perfectly. This model has a broad back which is well suited for larger people (the chairs weight limit is 300 lbs.). Included is an AC/DC converter power cord extension. Assembly (2 pieces) and operation (2 buttons) is very simple.

Prolounger power lift chair is awesome came in a box the back slipped right in the bottom and locked in place. from the time I took it out of the box to sitting and lifting 10 minutes. Very comfortable and the fabric looks to be easily cleaned. The chair reclines all the way back and down with the remote. The remote has a pocket on the side for easy access. And you can stop it in any position. This recliner is going to be nice.

Bad knees are tough to deal with. In addition to the painful effort required to rise from a chair, the descent sometimes results in a drop of a few inches into the seat which is not good for the back or the furniture.
This chair alleviates both moving a person between almost standing and reclining.
It is simple, requiring no learning curve, comfortable, and quiet.
We have another chair of this type which costs more than twice what this one did, and it was on sale. It has a beefier motor and piston, and offers greater flexibility of control: back, leg rest, and height adjust independently. Of course, some people invariably push the wrong button!

Great lift chair. This is a great little lift recliner for people who needs a little help getting up and down. The lift motor is powerful and so quite it barely makes a sound. The chocolate brown color is a great choice for just about any decor. The ease of operation is easy as an up or down button. In the up position you can easily get in or out of this chair. Great product, great quality.

This Reciner is an asset to my over all health. I have a Degenerate Spine. I have lived with this for years. The older I get the harder some days it is to get out of my chairs. I have used this Recliner all day yesterday and it is very comfortable and easy on my back. This will make my life much more enjoyable and will have many restful days and nights. I am very happy to now own this incredible Chair.
