The overall width is 2 3/16" The section that rubs against the door is 1" which leaves 1 3/16 to secure against frame

Not really sure as the weatherstrip material is designed to be attached with the nails supplied or possibly screws - basically some type of mechanical fastener. It would take a special adhesive as the materials are so dissimilar. With the curing time needed I am not sure how to keep the weatherstrip contacted to the cement frame. Not sure how long the weatherstrip will stay adhered with heat, cold and moisture Best answer I could provide.

The Garage Door Seal is beige. You can use a strip of molding, but it is not necessary. We recommend the roofing nails because the have a large flat head.
I doubt it would hold very long.
