These are nice small pendant lights. I was a little disappointed that the rod that is included with the light is only about 13 or 14 inches long.The picture on the website of the 3 lights over an island is very deceiving because it seems the downrod is much longer. There is chain but I had really wanted to have a solid rod from the ceiling. For the price, it is a decent light.

High End Look Without the Price
Perfect new pendants for my new kitchen. Bought the matching chandelier in store since kitchen is open to rest of house. Gorgeous!!!

Perfect for over the sink...
I searched until I found a full pic of this light, as I needed the chain option and was confused as to whether you had to use the rods. It only comes with 12" of rod (which ARE optional for installation) so if you are wanting full rod to ceiling, the additional rods must be purchased seperately. Other reviewers have stated they were disappointed and didn't want chain but for me it was a neccessity. Therefore, I am very pleased. The shade could be better quality but isn't horrible... the seam will not be seen as it will be installed close to a wall but if installed in an open setting, it might be an issue for some. The finish is dark oil rubbed bronze, leaning more to the black side of bronze but NOT black. The only complaint I have is the shade bracket that connects/holds the bulb and shade together is white... In my opinion, it should be the same finish as the chain/rod as it can be seen if hung eye level. I suppose that is a detail a more expensive light would have... for the price point (on sale at the time of purchase), it is a decent light fixture.

Not exactly as the photo shows it...
The photo and/or the specifications should state that this lamp only has about 12" of stem. The rest is linked chain. If that's the look you want, the lamp is fine. I wanted solid stem all the way to the ceiling.

Nice drumshade mini pendant
Ordered two of these for over the kitchen island. They came with rods as well as chains (which I didn't read in the description). Because we didn't want to use the chain (only the rods) I had to buy the additional rod extenders because what came with them weren't long enough. But once we got all the supplies, they are up and look great!
