Hello Help, 2- It can be used, but it is not labeled for thermal (R-value) and would need to be cut to size to fit between framing. Not recommended for the exterior side due to all the seams that it would have- much easier and more effective to use full sheets. Thank you for your inquiry!
Hello Frank425, the 1" Project Panels provides a thermal value of R-5. Thank you for your inquiry!
Hello Messiisbest, The Project Panels are sold by individual boards. Thank you for your inquiry!
Hello MPR2023, While there is not a specific reason not to add Foamular to this cavity after you have replaced the roof sheathing, our recommendation is to use the same insulation in that skylight cavity as what is in the rest of the cavities around it. Thank you for your inquiry!
Hello Tami, Owens Corning does not test adhesive or canned spray foam; we would suggest checking the labeling and verifying the adhesive is compatible with extruded polystyrene. Please see link for our technical bulletin. https://dcpd6wotaa0mb.cloudfront.net/mdms/dms/EIS/10024851/10024851-Compatible-Adhesives-for-Foamular-and-Foamular-NGX-Techical-Bulletin.pdf?v=1621929051000 Thank you for your inquiry.
Hello Uncle, Owens Corning Foamular can be used on the exterior of a block wall. Please note the Foamular cannot be left exposed to UV rays as it will slowly degrade over time. It will need to be covered to be protected from the UV rays. Thank you for your inquiry!
Hello Dylan, Owens Corning Foamular is a combustible product and must be covered by a 15 minute thermal barrier such as 1/2" drywall. Thank you for your inquiry!
