A: Yes, besides the obvious benefit of it being easier to see the studs during install, it makes for great coverage over electrical or plumbing.

A: Don’t see why not. Even with drywall, the slats are only meant to be fastened to the studs.

Nice addition to the wall

Went up easily and stores quite a bit of garden equipment. We had 2 extra panels so we added one to the top. We didn't have any extra trim pieces so there an inch gap, but it's not too noticeable unless you're looking at it from the middle of the garage. My only wish is that the accessories came in smaller packs or a variety of some or all of them.

Little tedious install but worked well when finished. Strong holding power when fully assembled. Be cautious of the over all height as it is 48 1/2 " , which is important to know if you are framing out the 2x4 to the concrete wall first. Hardware pretty good, they give you a bit for your impact gun also to use for install. Never seem to have enough hooks though:)

Great system!

Takes a bit of time to install, seven screws on each PVC piece, but once it's done, it's very strong. Definitely recommend. Surprisingly, I found the smallest hooks most useful. I also purchased the proslat bins package, which are a set of various sized clear bins that hook into the slatwall system, and highly recommend those as well.

Love it! Everything is off the floor in my garage. I was looking for something that would store our skis and the ski hooks did the trick. I can finally find things. Installation was not as easy as the video made it look, but my husband and I were able to do it. We made sure everything was level before screwing it down. I like the little plastic bins.

Absolute floor space saver! Once installed very strong and the kit is perfect to for all the things I needed off the ground. Took me 2 days only because it got too hot in the garage. Definitely make sure each slat is level before drilling in. Since you are drilling in each into the studs its very strong. Might have gone faster if I used a drill with more torque.

Product is better-than-average vinyl wall slat for hooks. Hooks are fantastic and all of it performs as advertised. Used 1 panel shy of 2 boxes to create this almost 8' tall "Utah" shaped panel assembly. Cut each panel with a 12" fine tooth miter saw (had to go slow and just the right direction to keep from chipping vinyl - so practice first on the end of a piece you know you'll be cutting off even further.
