Pure Beauty Farms is proud to grow one of the largest selections of Garden Chrysanthemum. The Garden Mum is a must have for the fall garden or seasonal doorstep. Mums are available in a huge selection of colors and varieties. Mum flowers can vary from double petals, semi-double and fringed. Mums make exceptional container plants to be mixed with pansies, cabbage, kale, heuchera, euphorbia, grasses and more. Mums also make great landscape companions to fall interest shrubs like Nandina, Holly, Burning Bush, Witch-hazel and more.
  • Full to partial Sun, at least 6-hours of direct sunlight is ideal
  • Plant about 2 ft. apart in bedding areas
  • Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer (Osmocote) after planting and water in thoroughly
  • Water mums from the soil to prevent stem rot
  • Once the ground freezes and plant becomes dormant, mulch well to prevent the roots from freezing

Hi Wendesa, they are listed as perennials all the way through zone 4. It is recommended to go with early-blooming varieties, they're more likely to come back in subsequent years. You would also need to monitor them carefully and apply a preventative fungicide to reduce the risk of illness.

They were diverted 3 days early pla ex on porch...
They were diverted 3 days early pla ex on porch sideways so the moisture drained and were broken. Though I tried to salvage then they died as soon as they were planted.

Unfortunately one of the plants came to me too far...
Unfortunately one of the plants came to me too far gone. They were all root-bound and none seem to be responding well to repotting. :-(

Plants were too wet as was the box they came...
Plants were too wet as was the box they came in. Flower buds were dead. I had to get rid of them. It was hot then, and I think that they took too long in transit.
