    Q:I received my boards today. Opening the box I already see a large crack in the wood platform. SMH. Is there Quality Control at the factory. I now have to box it up, travel to a Home Depot and return the defective product.

      A:  Hello, The tops area made from maple hardwood veneer and poplar. The frame and legs are made from pine.

        A:  The thinnest least “wood-like” wood you’ve ever seen but the good news is it doesn’t warp if it get a little wet or sits overnight in the dew/grass in the summer.
