Extremely mobile! Immediately replace factory wheel, trust me. Score,"scratch"& push handle. The boss recommends score the bottom...less chips to face? And with .5in scoring with multiple passes was necessary.

You might be able to do a notch as you described. However, you should purchase a drill bit for use with tile. The drill bit diameter should be as large as you can handle, cost-wise. I'd recommend 3/8" diameter, minimum. Then use that bit to drill a hole in the corner of your notch. Then, using the tile cutter, scribe your tile from that hole to the outer edges. Hopefully when you use the lever to snap the tile, only the scribed lines of the notch will break off. Not entirely sure if this will work, but that's what I'd try if I were in your position.

Does this allow you to cut miters and other angles?

Answers

Yes, as long as it will fit in the cutting area. You would need two marks to line up on the center breaker strip. Placement, and accuracy of the cut would totally depend on you placing it in the correct positionhere aren't any fences to aid you in placement for cutting miters. That's where to two folding legs come in handy. You swing them to where they will support your tile while ou get it lined up correctly.

Best tile cutter for the money
Gets the job done the cutter is only as good as the person that’s using it. cuts where spot on perfect

Broke 10 Tiles
This tile cutter broke 10 out of 12 tiles in the same spot about 2 inches from the front. Only the long cuts on 4.25 x 12.75 ceramic tile broke. I think the breaker ridge was has a high spot. See the attached picture of the typical breakage pattern. I will have to buy an additional box of tiles because I've used all my spares and pay the $50 shipping charge to boot. I will be buying a different one and hoping to get my money back after covid vaccinations.

For the price this was a great purchase, easy set up, easy use, easy to clean. Common to all table saws the guide arm needs to be tripled checked for lining up on long straight cuts. I used this on a backsplash 6"x3" tiles and it worked like a charm.

No clean cuts, broke multiple tile in half
I have used less expensive tile saws and had better quality cuts. I tried multiple tiles and every time it got to the middle of the tile it cracked it half.

Broke after 10 mins
I should have done a better job reading the reviews. Not a bad cutter, but the tile “breaker” arm broke within 10 mins making the tile cutter a giant paperweight. The “breaker” arm is what applies pressure to snap the tiles after you score it. We cut a piece of 3/8” tile and it broke. This product is garbage. Do not waste your money on it. Gave it 1 star because I couldn’t give it 0 stars.

It’s...alright
I have been in construction for 13 years, and I specialize in tile. I bought this saw for a quick job instead of going to my shop to grab my full size wet saw. 6 cuts on 12” tiles and I was less than impressed. Granted the cuts were around 1/2 inch, it was binding every 6 inches. I think for bigger cuts it may work, however I cannot say.
