Q:The name says "Stone Grout Float". Can this be used to apply grout to mosaic tile in a shower floor? Also, can it be used on 12x24 porcelain tile on the shower walls?

      Answer This Question

A:  I just used it on mosaic for a bathroom backsplash and above the shower. It was fine. It's going to be a matter of the grout consistency and thoroughness of application. I found the slight flex on the ends beneficial for insuring the grout completely filled the grout line spaces.

A:  Yes, this grout float can be used to apply grout to natural stone tile, as well as porcelain and ceramic. It will work on both smooth and textured tiles. -Alexis, Customer Care

Fell apart 20 minutes in DO NOT BUY
The adhesive failed, if I’ve learned something here it’s to have a backup float and not to trust this one.

If you need to float some grout, this will work. It cleaned up nicely. I dropped a star because it did leave a texture in the grout lines, but that could’ve been user fault.

Great product, and the first time I ever grouted and it went smooth. I followed the directions, worked at a good pace. It wiped fine and the job is done.

This put the grout right in the lines and cleaned up really nice after the job was finished. Getting ready to do a full kitchen floor with this - we just did a laundry room. Love it!

                Great Quality!
I decided to upgrade a little and get this float, it was well worth it! It's durable and handle epoxy grout wonderfully. Also it made work easier not having grout stick to the float. Well worth the money!

Solid tool that does the job. Not easy to work with (a bit unwieldy for those who might not be familiar with it). Good quality and effective otherwise.
