Would this tool be good for scraping wax off floor?

There are many wax removal products on the market that I would try first. This tool would scratch the surface of the floor. I purchased it to remove ceramic tile which didn't work. I would use a chemical removal product with a non-abrasive sponge or maybe a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. Test first in an inconspicuous spot.

Pulled up old carpet in my new 1952 ranch house to find 30'x17' of VAT tiles. Popped a few with a flat shovel, rented the power floor scraper and it just skipped over them. Bought this scraper and it went through the old tiles like they were just laying there. Then, it popped all the tack strips that had concrete nails in them. This thing is the beast. Run, don't walk to get this!

I was going to buy another similar item for about 5 bucks less, but saw that this was made in USA and the other in Taiwan. Pretty happy with my decision, removed old tiles and cement board like butter! With a little more effort it removed old linoleum tiles. I recommend this product
