About This Product
QEP Tile Wedge Spacers support tile and stone on vertical applications to help ensure wall tile is level during installation. The unique shim-like design allows wedges to be pushed in or pulled out to adjust the position of tile up to 1/8 in., while also holding the tile in place. Leveling adjustments are fast and easy, from your first row to your last.

Rainwater runs towards my front door after being blown under the porch. I want to use tile pavers 2'x 2' to turn the water back to run off the concrete porch. I must raise the first row of tiles at the door .25" to get that result. Do I use a wedge or some other device to tilt and hold the paver at that angle until the glue sets? Or what do you recommend to achieve my goal? Thanks, Homeowner.

Will this work with vinyl tile that calls for 5/16 spacers?
Yes, the product is suitable for that application.
We used these spacers with Porcelain tile so we cannot say it will work with Vinyl tile.
Yes they will they would probably work better using a 5/16 spacer for the wedges should work most vinyl tile you don't space at all unless it's a Perma Stone a product like that your vinyl tile is usually too thin to grout
At what distance along the wedge is the 1/8" thickness reached, or maybe better, what is the thickness at 1/4" length ("standard" tile depth) from the narrow end? Maybe you could place a dimensioned drawing as one of the pictures in this listing.
The wedge is triangular in shape. It doesn't achieve the 1/8 inch thickness until the very bottom.
the max distance is deepest part of the wedge - i.e. from 1/8" at the widest part down to almost nothing - sorry no drawing - I place them in with the widest part and then remove pulling on the narrowest portion left visible after the tile is dry and in place prior to applying grout. I'm sure there is a math formula that would tell you the width at each portion of length of the wedge but I do not remember my algebra and geometry well to determine the slope.the idea is to purchase the correct spacer for the suggest tile separation and place the widest all the way into the slot. hope this answers the question.

I guess they could be reused, but they can be difficult to remove and some will tear or stretch beyond usable shape.

They pull out after the tile has been installed . After letting them soak in a bucket of water about 90% of them were reusable .
The spacers that are in the shape of a cross sometimes get crushed if usung on a wall with larger/heavier tile. Will theses not get crushed as easily

these spacers do compress and become difficult to remove when using heavy (12"x24") tiles.
These spacers are made from rubber so yes they would compress after a few rows of larger tile being set
