    Strength, Quality
The threaded metal tip secured well. It has a lacquered hardwood handle (Excellent) and very strong. And, the Quickie handle #54102 is straight with no warping and is the best there is on the market. I used the Palmyra broom head and also purchased the polypropylene brush head ( The two best). The Tampico brush head just sheds too may fibers. The threaded metal tip will fit all brush heads for they come configured with two different size holes to fit or accommodate all broom handles. We would highly recommend the Quickie broom handle for simply stated, “There are none better”.

      Does not fit
My broom has the same 3/4 inch diameter ferrule. The description says "Metal ferrule fits standard thread block". My old ferrule was plastic screwed into a wood base. As you can see, the TREADS are way different. So what is standard then??

        Broke on first use
Good: fits a quickie broom head, it's cheap, and it can be glued back together. Bad: it broke while I was sweeping the alley, before I was ready to quit on a hot/humid July afternoon. Now I've got two perfectly usable broom heads and three broken handles. Might see if I can epoxy a ferrule to some conduit instead.

It was a simple product to install as a replacement for original handle which broke.

Needed a wood handle with a metal attachment that would not fall apart as soon as my crew guys got to work. They use these to scrub large tanks clean and they are holding together without any issue so far. Great price, easy online ordering, and they were ready to be picked up when I arrived at customer service. I have been very impressed with our McKinney, TX staff and excellent customer service!!!

The metal threads broke after about 4.5 months of light use. The "metal" turns out to be aluminum or some other soft metal. I used it on a push broom to sweep a small patio about 2-3 times per week. I picked this wooden handle over the others because it seemed sturdier. The handle is fine, but the ferrule is a poor choice of metal. The previous handle on my cheapo broom was metal tubing with a plastic ferrule that lasted 10 years. Not Recommended.

Perfect fit for my push broom.
Was pointed in the right direction to find this new handle. Fits great on my push broom. Back in business, actually better than the handle it came with. Metal feature was very easy to screw into my existing broom.
