Quiet on low speed mode
The fan is quiet on low speed mode but noise on high speed mode. Over all it is a good fan. It can keep our attic temperature below 120F. The app control is a cool function. I am still confusing as you see from the preset settings - why the fan would turn on automatically at low humidity and turn off when the humidity is high? Trying to add humidity to the attic??

Great cool looking and working fan. My only reservation is you yourself must wire it for fast or slow speed. I would prefer there was a switch to choose a high or low setting. Otherwise the fan is easy to mount and works as desired.

Added this to an existing round dormer vent in the attic. I did have to frame the opening to mount the fan (the existing opening was too large). Put new screen in to replace worn one, mounted frame, mounted fan, and put in the circular surround pieces. I did tape the seams of the surround to seal any gaps. The fan is very quiet, but it's located out above the garage and not near any living areas. Still when I'm near it, I don't think it's loud at all. Mine was the plug in type, easy to do, and the app works great. I'm wondering if anyone has modified the default Summer/Winter settings for more efficiency. I live in N Florida, my plan is to leave it in Summer Mode until the attic temp is consistently below 75-80F, then switch it to Winter Mode. Great product!

Incredible Value. Super Quiet. Dropped attic temps over 30 degrees.
Much quieter than anticipated, can't hear at all inside home. Move massive amount of air! - dropped my Florida attic by over 30degrees. A/C runs considerably less now as attic (where the AC Handler is) doesn't get up to 140/150 degrees anymore. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for Florida residents. Bought this along with the louvers that open/close when fan is on/off. Perfect combo.

Don't fool yourself... it is NOT quite BUT it is quieter then most other in this price range. Easy to install and plug'n play. I have a two story home. You can feel the difference upstairs (the main reason I bought it) The sound is more of a hum like a dishwasher or washing machine. Overall it's "white noise" and well worth the tradeoff for a cooler home. The adjustable thermostat is a huge plus. Took a few days to dial it in. Now it turns on by 10am and usually off by 8 or 9 pm. I gave it 5 stars because it works better then I expected. It was easy to install, PLUG'N PLAY and how well it worked.

Great American made fan and powerful to move hot air out of the attic that is 15" by 20" and also pulls air from the rest of the house for air flow.
It is the best fan I have tried and works perfect for keeping the attic and house cool in the summer.
Made up a plywood housing to install easily for the summer months and 4 bolts to remove the assembly for winter, close the shutters and install the winter window.
A few trips to Home Depot made it easy to add all the finishing touches I wanted.
Would definitely buy again.

I installed this fan in the ceiling of my garage to pull outside air through the door windows into the garage into the attic and push it through the vents. Works as expected, no vibration at all. It’s a little loud but, you can’t hear it in the house one bit. Very easy to install and I like the idea that it very efficient.
I even installed a furnace filter in front of it to help keep it clean
