Q:How much a 300 Sq ft roll weigh? And what glue do you recommend to glue it to cement subfloor

Answer This Question

A:  A 60 sq ft roll is at least 90 pounds! It's a cumbersome process to move it by lifting. I suggest using a dolly or board cart. I cannot imagine a HUMAN maneuvering a 300 sq ft roll without a device assisting them (forklift or pallet jack)

    Disappointing...
The manufacturer was of no help in determining if this would be the proper product for our needs, in answering specific installation questions or anything else. When installing, we found that the ends are cut haphazardly and need to be recut square. It seems no effort was made to made a square or straight cut. At 4 feet from the end of the roll, it is folded back on itself, causing a break and, wasting the last few feet. Foot traffic is sort of clicky and loud echoing back in the room.

It's pricey, on a big floor. But it's a great acoustic silencer and also cushions any new flooring, giving a nice feel to walking on it.

I did not use it. Returning it for credit. It was my mistake: I thought I was ordering material with a 5 mm thickness. It turned out to be 2 mm. I didn't realize that the 100 sq ft roll was 5 mm thick but the 300 sq ft roll was only 2 mm thick. As it turns out I need a 10 mm thick product to meet my local requirements. Customer service for the return of the material was excellent.

      Sound blocking ? Not sure
I put this down under a floating floor . Helped alittle but not a BIG difference. I put carpet in the other rooms seemed to be more effective.

I ordered a 300 ft roll and a 400 ft roll. They were supposed to be the same thickness. But 300 ft roll just slightly thinner. And it is noticable under the flooring. Beware.
