QUIKRETE® Concrete Acrylic Fortifier can be used to replace up to 1/2 of the mixing water in the mixture. For QUIKRETE® Quick Setting Cement (No. 1240), 1/2 part of QUIKRETE® Concrete Acrylic Fortifier and 1/2 part water is mixed with 5 to 5-1/2 parts of QUIKRETE® Quick Setting Cement by volume. As an example, mix 1/2 cup of QUIKRETE® Concrete Acrylic Fortifier and 1/2 cup of water with 5 to 5-1/2 cups of QUIKRETE® Quick Setting Cement.

Quikrete responded to my question about what products I might use for my shower pan, in which they recommend sand topping with dash of acrylic fortifier to adhere better to the pan membrane. As far as I can tell it works great. What impressed me was the same day I contacted Quikrete, they responded the same day. That says something about the company. Kuddos to Home Depot for having the products I need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked well! I used this with quick set Quikrete... Worked well! I used this with quick set Quikrete to repair broken concrete steps. Chipped away loose material, cleaned, and dampened the cavity area thoroughly with water. The instructions indicated to mix the acrylic with 50% water, then mixed with quick set to make a stiff paste. I was able to apply in 3 separate lifts (required due to the depth of the cavity) over the course of one day, allowing each lift (application) to harden in between. Covered with a plastic bag weighted with bricks to retain moisture for 2 days. No cracking and a nice clean repair. Easier than I expected!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this with Quikrete Fast Setting Cement to repair... I used this with Quikrete Fast Setting Cement to repair two holes in my pool. I found the 2 very small leaks and after chipping out the surrounding rotten concrete with a screwdriver . . .the holes became about 2 inches across. Just followed the directions to mix this stuff and used a small trowel to pack the mixture in and smooth it out. It set up in minutes and hopefully will be a permanent fix.

Hard to review something that I don't physically see an end product.I must trust this product did its job as my coconcrete counter did not fall apart and looks and feels great. I used this product based on my youtube recommendations, so I guess it deserves a good rating
