QUIKRETE® Re-Cap® Concrete Resurfacer is grey in color and can be colored with QUIKRETE® Liquid Cement Colors (No. 1317) or with other pigments approved for use in concrete and masonry products. QUIKRETE® Re-Cap® Concrete Resurfacer has been designed to match typical concretes in color. Concrete colors vary. Determine color is acceptable by mixing a small amount, placing it in an inconspicuous area, and allowing it to harden overnight before proceeding with the entire project. Re-Cap® Concrete Resurfacer color will also vary depending on water added, curing conditions and variations in the underlying concrete.

Pour the dye on the cement n mix. Its your choice on how dark or light you want it but keep in mind when the cement starts to dry it tends to be lighter so you may want to make sure you put enough but i love it

The cap on my retaining wall was shot, after getting several ridiculous estimates to replace it I decided to do it myself. I molded the concrete blocks using 2 bags of 80 LB sand mix. I am pleased with the shade of red and it will have more color after I put the sealer on it, see pictures.

Simple to use. One bottle good for 2 bags 90 pound concrete. I mixed one bottle in 7 quarts water and then hand mixed using 3.5 quarts of colored mixture. Had to stir up the leftover when doing another bag. There is a lot of settling in the bottle. Had to flush with water to get all the color out.
