THE INSIDER is a thermoplastic connector that connects one or two runs of Non-metallic Sheathed Cable to a box. THE INSIDER can be used with steel boxes, panel boxes or plastic boxes with knockouts. The connector is to be used in dry locations.
- Snap-on design secures the nonmetallic fitting into the open 1/2 in. knockout
- Can be used in exposed or concealed ceilings and walls

AnswerYes, this is for 1/2” knockouts.
Are these recommended for use with flush mount breaker panels so I don't have to cut the drywall open?

AnswerWhile this connector has not been designed for such an application, it could work depending on the thickness of the drywall. The connector is 5/8 inches long. We recommend checking with your local inspector to ensure all codes/standards are met as well.

These work great. I always use them when fishing down a wall to an existing panel. I fish the wire first and then slip on the connector. Usually when dealing with an existing metal box I end up using on of these.
