Absolutely awesome product that I wish they had come up with years ago.
This is an absolutely awesome product I wish Rigid had come up with years ago. I use my wet vac all the time. For anyone who uses a wet vac, you know it is not the most convenient thing to use the two connectable tubes. This one tube in its shortest position is longer than a single tube and once extended fully is significantly longer than two tubes put together. At any given time it is a quick twist of the orange collar to lock or unlock extending the tubes. If you have the hose and tools that use the rigid lock mechanism they can also be locked in place. I've already used this new tube several times and find it to be much more convenient than putting one tube on or two tubes on depending upon how far away or underneath things I am vacuuming. Being able to extend and retract in less than one second has made a simple chore even simpler. I will be buying two more of these for the other two rigid wet vacs I have.

Great Compliment for Auto Cleaning. Performs Well.
Smaller diameter is perfect for use with Ridgid’s car cleaning kit. Wand allows precise cleaning than just a flexible hose and was exactly what was needed for removing debris, possibly a rodent nest, from deep inside a vehicle fender cavity without having to remove any parts. Wand makes quick cleaning with its small size and long reach. When realizing what was thought to be Ridgids 1 ⅞”car cleaning kit was actually the 1 ¼” version it took some creativity t0 use. Removing the accessory end, applying a few wraps of duct tape, the hose could be jammed inside the wand to get cleaning done fast and easier than any other way. Another great Ridgid Shop Vac accessory that performed perfectly! Satisfied and recommend this smaller telescoping Ridgid wand.

Convenient addition to your ridgid shop vacuum.
In review of a 1- 7/8 in. locking telescoping extension wand accessory for rigid wet/dry shop vacuums. This extension can be used in place of the original wand's or connected together with them to get almost 8 feet of reach. By itself It is slightly longer than one of the ones that came with my ridgid shop vacuum and when extended all the way is about 6 inches longer than the 2 wand's that came with it and can lock generally anywhere in between. By adding a 2-1/2 to 1-7/8 reducer it could be used on a larger shop vacuum as well.

Nice extension
I have the Rigid shop vac, but have always wanted a longer reach for the wand. This telescoping extension wand is perfect. Fits snugly onto my flexible hose. When you pull it out to lengthen it, is makes a soft clicking sound. Extension varies from about 28 inches to a whopping 48 inches. Even when fully extended, the wand keeps it's rigidity. A nice locking collar keeps it where you want it. Really nice extension, Rigid.

Great addition to my rigid shop vac
This is a great addition to my rigid shop vac.
Wand is easy to use and is lightweight. Its adjustable length is easy to change and holds its position because of the locking coupler. The bottom piece has a track that clicks as you adjust the length. the top (hose end) allows the flexible vacuum hose to sit inside the wand firmly, and disengages just as easily. The tool end of the wand has a clip that keeps the brush or other attachments firmly in place while using.

nice space saving option
Having a locking telescoping extension wand for your shop-vac is a nice update. I've got 2 large tubes I can smush together, but this takes up half the space. Keep in mind this is designed for 1⅞" tube connections and accessory connectors. Fortunately I have numerous downsizing fitments for my shop-vac given its different use cases in my garage/shop. I mostly use these wants to clean the floor, so it does an excellent job of this. I didn't use it for liquid, just dirt and debris from recent work. No issues, nothing stuck inside. Easy to use, just twist the orange band to unlock, pull out to the desired length and lock in place.

It has a locking mechanism that is strong and won’t collapse. The entire lockingTelescoping Extension Wand Accessory is designed to fit above the rolling feet on shop vacuums; the storage well is built in to the shop vac. Nice.

Great addition to tool box
This little telescoping extension for my RIDGID vacuum is a very nice addition to
my tool collection. It allows me to vacuum debris from the floor of my small shop
without a lot of bending over since it will extend to approximately 48 inches and
retract down to 27 inches. By using some of the many RIDGID tools the reach can
be longer based on which tool is used.
