Worthless
The rubber connector broke after a few uses. No replacement part available. Rigid customer service told me to order from home depot. They don't have it.

not durable but performs well
It's a nicer hose than the default but it broke quickly at where it was connected to the included adapter. I am very disappointed.

this was the last extension i needed
i can now vacuum the whole basement ,, as you see with my photo .. i now gotta about 40' to reach all corners ,, lots of spider webs, dead bugs, and loose dirt always in the basement .. they come in all and every sumer

Much better than stock hose
This hose is far superior to the stiff plastic one that came with my vacuum. I would have liked to given it a 5 star review. But a couple of aggravating things kept me from doing that.
1. I have a Ridgid WD12450 vacuum. The text states that the hose fits all Ridgid 2-1/2" configurations and includes adapters to fit. After scratching my head for a while, I figured out that the furnished adapters will not fit my vacuum. My vacuum inlet measures 2-11/16" ID and the included adapters are 2-1/4" OD. BUT, I can take the adapter off my old hose and the new hose will fit onto it.
Why not a statement on the web page or in the instructions that it "may be necessary to use your old adapters in some cases"? Save a lot of time.
2. The hose is advertised as being 10 feet long. It is exactly 9 feet. With the adapter cuffs, it measures 9' 4-1/2" long. Somewhere a foot of hose is missing.

Just like a Car Wash Vacuum Hose
I am very happy and satisfied with this pro hose. Perfect for car cleaning and love the orange color and fit like a champ on my RIDGID WD12450 vac from back in 2005 and with everything in tact due to light car cleaning usage along with my newer RIDGID WD1270 vac. Only issue is that it make a really high pitch noise when the vacuum is on and it hurt my ears. I would love to know a solution to fix this issue but other than that it is well built and durable.

THIS DOES NOT FIT MY RIGID SHOP VAC, WHY WOULD THAT BE?!?!?!?
I do not usually make negative reviews, but this experience has been particularly frustrating. Rigid does not make it easy to find fittings for the older devices (not really that old at 6 years or so), and I suspect they just hope we will buy the new shop vac despite the fact that the older one works fine. If you stand by your product's quality then make sure those of us who take care of it and use it for longer periods can get fittings to match your new unit hose sizes. My next shop vac will NOT be a Rigid product unless this is resolved promptly.

Dual-Flex Tug-A-Long Locking Vacuum Hose (VT1720) is made to fit most RIDGID wet/dry vacuums, but optimal with smaller RIDGID wet/dry vacs 9 Gal. or smaller. Older vacuum models might need to use a different adapter to be able to use the hose. somehow i got a mouse in my garage. It chewed through my hose and the connector for the hose to tub. I found this at home depot:
1st I made sure it was the right size
then i called ridgid customer support for the connector.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!!
they are sending me the connector I need.

i have no reason to believe it is not oem.
