Q:what is the difference between this unit and RBC-121 charger. Will this charge the 2.5AH 55183 battery?

        A:  I bought unit this based on Ridgid's answer to this question. NO, IT DOES NOT WORK! RB-1225 battery contact base shape is not compatible with this charger.
