A:  Planerfool; The holes in these blades are for alignment pins. There are no screws that go through these blades. There is a hold-down metal bar that sits on top of these blades which has the five screws for retention.

A:  Whether it's a 12.5 or 13" planer, buy the blades for a 12.5 or 13" planer. The blades are universal. Both Dewalt or Rigid blades with work. Look on the box of blades. On the box it should say what size planer they fit. They can be bought at Home Depot or Lowe's. About $25 dollars for a pack of 3. You must change blades when they need to be or you will destroy the paner, but lots of wood as well

A:  I got my replacement blade from Home Depot online.  Looked up model number and for 3 blade replacement in a few days
