Blade will be locked but still slides out of 90 De
Kinda super sad. I got the saw all set at a 90 degree. Made a few cuts and came back with my square and released it was falling back to just about 89 degrees. Super sad being I need these boards to connect perfectly with no gaps.

              Does The Job Well
Bought this as a birthday gift for my brother. He has been very happy with it so far. Cuts well, good power even on 1 to 2 " thick wood, and is compact enough for a smaller workshop or garage.

              Deck not straight.
I purchased this item several days ago, it had all the options I was looking for. I opened the box tried to set it up, as I was measuring to square it up I noticed the deck was not flat. It would be impossible to ever get a square cut with this saw. I returned it, paid the extra money and bought a Dewalt.

Disappointed. 3 items create inaccurate cuts
Quick Summary: 1) Miter gauge wiggles a lot 2) Rip fence is sticky and hard to make small adjustments + it's not always square/straight. 3) The blade is not 90 degrees out of the box, when I measure with a framing square Details: To premise, I am new woodworker and I've been building out my tool set this year. I received this table saw as a gift, so I am happy to own and continue to use it until I can save up for a more expensive/professional table saw. Also, I own other Ridgid tools and have no issues with those (Jigsaw, Drill/Driver, Driver, Shop Vac). Here is my perspective. This year, I started with some basic tools like a circular saw and miter saw. I built some outdoor furniture with decent outcomes, using mainly glue and screws. Nothing too complex. For my birthday, my parents bought me this because I wanted to do more intricate work that required dado cuts, ripping boards down and other more advanced techniques that you can't do on miter/circular saws. As I've started doing more wood work on this saw and watching videos/learning more about the woodworking craft, I found this saw does not provide reliable and accurate cuts. A few things that really hurt this saw, in my opinion. 1) Miter gauge wiggles a lot - this may be a problem on other saws, but it seems like older models of this saw and higher end models of other saws have less plasticky and more reliable miter gauges that don't wiggle in their slot. Sure, it's a small wiggle but an 1/8th of an inch adds up. Gaps in my joints because I was leaning one way or pushing another way while making a cross cut is not ok with me. 2) Rip fence is sticky and hard to make small adjustments + it's not always square/straight. This video at the 2:05 mark is exactly what I see: https://youtu.be/eDBG11ZR3_o?t=125 plus when trying to make small adjustments, one end will stick and be hard to adjust with a small tap or light nudge. This makes measuring out my rip cuts much more tedious. 3) The blade is not 90 degrees out of the box when I measure with a framing square. This is probably the most frustrating because I can't find a great solution to this. The instructions are really hard to understand, IMO, and there are no youtube videos that address this issue. [see picture] All in all, I've probably spent about 30 hours or so on this saw over the summer and while I don't have much experience, I find these items to be already frustrating and something I know I don't want in the future. Otherwise, the saw works as expected and no other issues that come to mind. Hope this help

                      Worthless
When unboxed, the blade was not square to the miter slot. The provided adjustment does not provide enough travel to bring the back of the blade square. It’s always off an eighth.

                        Solid table table saw.
I've made a few cuts now and I like it. Cuts straight and feels Heavy duty. Definitely would recommend it to friends and family. Deducted a star because the dust shoot doesn't fit a standard shop vac. It would be nice if it came with an attachment to hold the shop vac in place

                          Part broke before use
I just assembled this saw then picked it up to move it and the clip that holds the base to the saw snapped off. Very weak weld. Now I have to drive half an hour to the store, do an exchange, drive home and assemble to new one. This time I will add a couple of pipe clamps to hold the saw to the base.

                            Quality for the price
Excellent quality for the price. Needs better mounts for all the attachments when transporting. Would’ve preferred the model with a rolling stand but unavailable at the time
