I brought two week ago and I recommend this product.

I have this. Blade is on the wrong side for me It's made for left handed people. I never Use it for that reason.

Answer

Hi Upchucknonu, Please check all the saws that are sold and you will see that over 90% will have the blade on this side. You hold the front handle with your left hand and the trigger with your right hand. The trigger handle is also the way to keep the saw straight or guide the saw so you would need your dominant right hand to do this. this way you are at the back and slightly to the left of the blade. Hope this helps or if you have more questions please call our customer service and they will help. 866-539-1710. Greg

Awesome Saw but shady warranty
I bought this saw in November and it is a beast. It cut through three inch thick walnut with no issues at all. The only problem I have is that I registered it for the lifetime warranty which has you send a picture of the receipt and fill out some info. I checked on it tonight and sure enough the registration failed and I never got an email or anything telling me that there was an issue. Luckily I still have 29 days to complete it by mailing in the receipt. I recommend this saw but make sure you keep checking on the registration on the Ridgid website so you get your warranty.

I had a 20 year old Craftsman Circular Saw but the blade would not spin true. I needed to cut a 1" slice from a 24" by 1" thick slab of Silestone and it had to be accurate so I decided on the Rigid R32051 based on others' reviews. I was impressed with the quality of the controls for making precise adjustments and how easy the controls were to use. The cut came out perfect and I was amazed at how easy it was. I had used my Craftsman to cut a 1/2" piece of Silestone previously with the same Diamond blade and it was much more effort. The guide made it very easy to get a precise cut and since most of my work is for long cuts (trimming down doors and panels around the home), this is very important to me.

The saw is very comfortable to use and the large base plate is stable and slides easily through the cut. The kerf marks are easy to read and the ratcheting blade angle knob is a nice design too. Good job Ridgid! The blade that comes with the saw is ok but I bought a 40T diablo that cuts much smoother. The blade guard rolls up easily as the tool enters the cut. Much better than my last saw. (Old beater skillsaw from the late 1990s.) I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely purchase again!

First time purchasing the saw, it didn’t have the arbor washer. I returned the item and got another one and have been loving the power and control this saw has. It feels very planted on its shoe and is easy to ha for.
