What's better, more accurate, easier LED or Laser?
Hi Bubbles, The Led is adjustable to give a good straight line. The LED cut line is based on the saw blade so the accuracy is better and there is no need for adjustment. As well as in the bright sun you can still see the LED cut line. Hope this helps. Greg

Hi Pudge, You will need to check the stand information and see if it will handle a 12" miter saw. Some stands will only hold up to a 10" size. Hope this helps. Greg

Read the reviews. It is possible there are subtle design changes and/or country of manufacture. Ridgid reviews of newer models are often worse! 4123 is likely newer than 4122.
I didn't know there was a 4123. The difference between R4121 amd 4122 is one is a sliding mitre. I'm sorry I couldn't help you. Maybe try calling Ridgid?

Will this saw also accept a 10 in. blade?

It’s always wiser to use parts and accessories that are intended for your equipment. I you knowyour saw very well, you can use a smaller blade in a pinch.
There is evidence that a 10 inch blade will work on a 12 inch saw. However, a 12 inch motor typically turns slower than a 10 inch motor. You would need a blade with higher tooth count to get the same smoothness as that blade on a 10 inch saw. Also, the smaller blade may not make a complete cut unless you space out the fence. The smaller diameter may not reach all the way back to the bottom of the stock against the fence.
