4.5 in. Diamond Multi-Cutting Blade

Dusk broke during first cut on 1/2 inch steel. Ridgid is going to get someone hurt.

I used this blade on my Angle Grinder to cut a piece of 1-1/2 thick flagstone. It worked perfectly! I scored the line that I traced onto the stone with the grinder blade, then my husband deepened my score. Then I used a chisel to complete the break. I was a bit nervous using the angle grinder, but we watched a few videos to make sure we adhered to all the safety guidelines. This blade completed my job effortlessly. Thank you!

Cut through brick like butter

I made and installed this 18’x7’ rolling gate from scratch. The Rigid Multiblade cut easily through some 1/4” angle iron and 3/16” flat bar and helped me finish my work fast. Thanks RIGID !

This 4.5" diamond blade is multi-use and designed to cut dry into various stock and surfaces. This blade will easily cut through tile, metal (included non-ferrous metals AND steel!), masonry, laminate, PVC and other plastics, and fiber cement. I have used this blade on fiber cement which is difficult to cut. The same goes for laminate counter tops. Strangely the instructions state to run the saw for 1 minute before using. Not sure why.

This Rigid Multi-Cut 4.5' diamond cutting blade is absolutely FLAWLESS!! I tried it with lumber cutting, metal cutting for angle iron, and Drywall cutting, and it was precisely what I needed in my life!! It cuts with precision, accuracy, when cutting wood or drywall, there's no splitting at ends of materials, as you get with other brands of blades I've previously used!! It stays sharp, doesn't dull blade whatsoever!! Other brands I've previously used they maybe get 20 angle iron cuts out of 1 cutting blade, but the Rigid Diamond Cutting 4.5' blade doesn't dull, and holds its shape, quality, and It could be used to cut ANYTYPE of materials honestly, it's tough, durable, and wish I had stumbled onto this blade sooner!! HIGHLY SATISFIED & HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Pretty decent quality diamond blade, cuts fairly well. Was expecting some kickback because it is not a aluminum oxide grit cutter, and the blade is much more stiff, but was pleasantly surprised to not see any kickback at all. Only issue I can see with it is that the 5/8 inch arbor is just a hair too big for my standard arbor on my ryobi angle grinder. Other aluminum oxide blades fit just perfectly. So if you don’t spend a little time perfectly aligning the arbor you’re going to have some wobble in the blade.

This diamond cutoff wheel is rated for almost any hard material I might want to cut around my home so I tested it on what I felt were the more challenging materials I need to cut. I started by mounting in my 4.5" angle grinder. For this application I had to remove the reducing washer to go from 5/8" to 7 /8" dia required for an angle grinder (photo 1). After that it was in to cutting. First I cut 14 have steel tubing and 1/ " steel rod. It cut both very easily (photo 2). I then tried granite and stone. Again, no issue and easy cutting. (Photo 3). Finally, I cut a porcelain role which can be difficult. Again, it handled it easily without chipping. (Photo 4). This cutoff wheel has met all requirements and more and I highly recommend it.
