        Nice
This is my first Ridgid product. Had it for 60 days. If this is a indication of the tools Ridgid putting out, I'm never buying the blue ones again. It's pricey for what i needed, well made, well thought out. I love all the storage and how everything has a place. Changing the belt for a drum is a breeze. Not hunting around the garage for stuff is a plus. I would love the price to be a little cheaper. I used it to make some 5" circles in plywood. Took me some practice. Just some guy in a garage.

          Spindle sander
Have used it for flat and angled pieces. Have mostly use the large sander and the different diameter roll for fine work.

Good sander but a little underpowered
I live this sander it’s a nice tool to have but the motor is a little underpowered if you push hard on the belt sander you can stall the motor.

          Not the best design
Added knob on left table hinge. Only way I could get table level. The current design did not allow for that. Added leveling feet. Made other changes. Will post some pics but one cannot give a full review without getting text cut off. Sorry. Okay machine.

            RIDGId Oscillating Edge/Belt Spindle Sander
Extremely pleased with the Ridgid OE/BSS. Employing it on many of my smaller projects saves much needed time and effort. It is one of the more sought after units with good reason .

The 1/2" spindle isn't supposed to be included!
I'd read the reviews before going to the store and saw many people returned theirs because the 1/2" rubber spindle drum wasn't included in the box. I had the same experience, returned it and the next box was exactly the same. It turns out, if you read the instructions carefully, that for the 1/2" sanding drum you just slide it on over the metal spindle itself, put on the washer and nut, and tighten it. You can stop returning the sander if you can't find the 1/2" sanding drum! I haven't tried it out yet beyond making this discovery, but after wasting an hour returning it I thought I should share the knowledge. And Ridgid: revise the words on the box and your advertising to make this clear!

Wish I had bought it sooner.
This is a great addition to any woodworking shop. The unit is lightweight but sturdy. I have a small shop so i use a rolling cart for tools like this. Set up is easy, dust collection is about average but definitely better than no dust collection at all. I have had it for few months and have used it on multiple projects. It will bring your projects to the next level by adding details that would normally take hours sanding by hand. If you are looking at spindle sanders I would put this at the top of your list just for its versatility alone.

Worked as expected. Lived up to YouTube reviews. Plenty of power. Never slowed down, not even on large pieces. (Wood) Downside: Needs a place to store stop (The thing that keeps the wood from flying off).
