It does ok work.
I have had this tile saw for a week now. I feel that I can give fair assessment of the saw now. Pros: -price -compact/ light weight. -working surface/ 11.5 inches on left, 9 inches on the right. - cutting speed about 10 sec per foot with the oem blade. - support arm on the back - durable. Cons: - water guard is not clear, can not see the blade cutting the tile without looking under it. - chips/cracks the final 1/4 inch every cut. - does not cut straight, losses 1/16. - bolts rust after a week.

The stand is what makes this a great buy. Easy fill and empty sump for the water. The guides are a necessity for all different types of cuts. Overall it is better than renting one, it will save you money and your wife will want more tile work done anyway...

Awesome device. Easy-to-use and easy to set up. Cleans up nice. Very movable. Not to heavy. Nice that this one has a storage spot for wrenches that come with it. Nice long cord .

    Best Investment for DIY Projects
My husband & I are retired and decided to start on a few projects to update our home. We chose glass tiles for our backsplash and wanted it done properly. After a little research, we decided to purchase this particular wet saw. It was easy to assemble & just as easy to use. No issues whatsoever and the warranty on this product is great! I would recommend this particular model to anyone wanting a perfect addition to their collection of tools. Cleanup was a breeze!

Great saw, at least for occasional jobs
My third project with it. It is perfect for my homeowner level needs. I got it on sale too, with a stand. It cuts cleanly, accurately, without a lot of noise, no dust, tiny tiny bit of splashing. I've been able to use it where I am working.

        Great for Home DIY
I used this for ceramic subway tile for a kitchen backsplash and it cuts with ease and doesn’t chip. Nice quality and no rust, just clean up when done. Great wet saw would recommend for home or even pro use since it can handle glass and stone as well.

          I've had it for years
I bought this three years ago and it's still going strong! I did both floor and wall tiles in my guest bath (wall tiles up to the ceiling), my kitchen backsplash and now I'm using it on the floors and walls of my en suite. Thank you!

            Fried Engine
I am a Glassblower by trade and use these types of tools in the cold working area od my studio, so they're not used alot. I've had this saw for roughly 3 months, used maybe 25 times for just minutes at a time, and the motor fried on me today. I just threw the original box away as well. So sad...here's a picture of Rigids
              Wet Tile Saw
I usually rent but for the price, and because a I several tile jobs to do around the house, I decided to buy. Overall, decent value for the money, it got the job done. Saw does easily chip tile at the very end of cuts, no matter how careful you are, which is annoying. I then flipped tiles over face down to cut and chips on corners were much less noticeable as damage is to the back of tile. I checked the trueness of the blade and there was no wabble, which can often cause chipping. The fence is not a great design, only clamps from the front grove with slight play in it but didn't affect the straightness of my cuts too much. If you can afford an overhead designed wet tile saw, they are much easier to use, quicker, and produce much nicer cuts.
