A:  It's Ridgid. It has a limited Lifetime Warranty. Heck, any hand tool that you purchase at HD or that other big box store in blue, if it fails, just bring it back and they will give you a new one.

A:  It does not the way you think, against defects not wear and tear against use. I have several tools, screwdriver, tongue & groove pliers that are slipping and they refuse to cover, then they said, send it back, I pay for postage and they will examine it! What do you think they're answer would be? It's bogus!

A:  Underneath the sink, there's a big nut, use plumbers caulk or silicon to install.

A:  Hello, thanks for contacting RIDGID! Per our technical services department, the 2006 Sink and Faucet Installer is the only product we have for this type of application, the One Stop Plumber's Wrench will not work. A:  Loosen 3 screws, once loose take a skinny tip flathead screwdriver and pry the O- ring off. May take a second screwdriver also if you have never removed one before. Once ring is off bottom hardware will come off, then pop old strainer out but hitting up to break loose from the plumbers putty.

                Practical and Convenient
Although one can purchase separate wrenches for the same purpose, the convenience of having "three tools in one" at the ready is a real time saver. No more searching through a tray or drawer of wrenches to find the ones you need. The dual-size open end and the flare wrench provided, will handle a majority of your plumbing connection needs. To add to the convenience, the flare wrench screws into the handle of the open end wrench, keeping them together. For the DIYer, this saves having to get into your other tool drawers for plumbing work.

Just super convenient when crawling under the kitchen sink to take the faucet out. I also purchased the Rigid Red plumbing removal multi tool (looks like a D Cell flashlight) for the task. I crawled underneath the sink and did not have to crawl back out until everything was disconnected. Total price of both tools was under $50. Saved at least an hour of back breaking misery. And now I have the tools for next time. Money well spent!

It worked perfectly to change out a compression fitting under my toilet. While I feel like you could get away with just using a couple of adjustable wrenches and something to wedge into the fitting to keep it still, it really did make it easier. I've got two more toilets to change out fittings for and it fits well for my sink as well. All in all, if you're just working on a single fitting, you could finagle some other tools just fine. But if you're gonna be updating a bunch of stuff around the home, then it's a good idea to have around to make life easier.

Excellent Tool Solution to a Difficult Problem
As a DIYer for over 40 years, I've had to deal with fixing many compression-type water supply valves. You have to deal with tight spaces, under the sink, with obstructions while using wrenches and channel locks not really meant for the job. This wrench is well-conceived and effective at removing and installing water supply valves. I used it and never had an easier time removing old valves and installing new ones.
