These kneepads are very comfortable! they allow those who have knee pain move on with easy while crawling. the downside is that they are not very durable!! The hardware that attach the Strapping to the kneepad has come off. See the attached picture.

The pad itself is super comfortable, but after 2 months the one pad hinge pins (screws) keep falling out and one is now lost. Because one side of the hinge screw is covered by material I am not able to tighten fully when it comes loose.

Purchased these August 2019 to complete my roof replacement. Used them for about 10 days and one of the straps tore from the knee pad making it useless, see image. I expected better quality from a Rigid tool.

Good evening, I am a construction worker and I have several tools from Ridgid company and they are all excellent and I have nothing to complain about the tool, so I bought a pair of Ridgid knee pads but I was very disappointed with only 1 month of use and not using every day, the velcros have all decoupled, and the knee brace is falling from the knee every hour, I have been very stressed with this, I had a great confidence in the products of this company, but unfortunately I was too disappointed, now I have to buy other knee pads and I'm going to opt for another company. I hope that the company may be correcting this problem, because Ridgid has excellent materials, and can not lose this concept because of material of poor quality.

The Rigid Pro Hinge Stabilizing Knee Pads are a terrific solution to kneeling discomfort, achy knees and lower back soreness. The padding is comfortable and the flat surfaces keep the pads stable. For me, these promote better posture. I notice that my lower back stays in line with thighs, knees and shoulders. Usual subsequent back pain is all but eliminated. The one off note is that the upper strap is a bit short making for a tight fit around the thighs. Perhaps this is purposeful. Anyhow, the price is fair and quality good, making this a highly recommend product.

If you want comfortable and well made knee pads the Rigid PRO knee pads are the way to go. The really thick and durable knee plate ensure great grip and non slip grip on the ground. The extra wide adjustable straps are very comfortable and hold strong through out the day. The hinge allows for non binding and easy mobility when bending the knee and standing. This keeps the straps from binding, bunching up and pinching the back of your knees and leg. Overall a very durable and comfortable knee pad that can be worn for a very long time on the job.

Holy over-engineered knee pads Batman! These Ridgid stabilizing knee pads certainly came in handy when I was repairing broken floor tiles... which always requires a considerable amount of time on my knees. I’ve had various brands of stabilizing knee pads over the years, but never with “hinged” pads. The hinges are a nice touch to keep the pads in the right spot over the knee and also to help ventilation behind the knees. I have pretty thin and boney legs and these fit well. During initial use, these felt best when I was leaning forward or back verses being completely upright, but that may change as they break in a bit more. I’m always wary of velcro even though I’m a fan. In my opinion, the hooks (or is it the loops?... I never know which is which) on the bottom straps of these pads don't look (and I mean in appearance only, not in function) as durable as the velcro on the upper straps. I'm only pointing this out because the velcro is usually the first thing to wear out on my pads. And if you tend to sweat your knee caps off like me, don’t be tempted to wash the pads to rid them of odor. I’ve found washing velcro wears it out quicker. Overall, I'm pleased with these pads. They stabilize well and the gel is comfortable. These are another nice addition to Ridgid’s XLT premium series pro-line. Oh!... and the pads also make a great accessory to a Halloween costume if you’re dressing as Robocop.

Extremely heavy duty for those who need it. If you work on you knees a lot, such as tile/hardwood flooring, you need this! They are HUGE but they are extremely thick. Quite heavy too, but again, if you work on you knees for hours and hours a day, they can be worth it. They are quite a lot of money at $40 but they are durable, have gel, grip, a flat platform(stabilizing), and are quite comfortable. They are more comfortable if you wear pants, but not bad if you are wearing shorts. I hope the elastic doesn't give out in the long run, but so far so good. For those who only need these maybe 2-5 times a year, get a cheaper, smaller, lighter set.
