National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) recommended, the 6-mil thick polyethylene films is a Class 1 moisture barrier to protect and extend the life of your floors. Can this be used in basement concrete flooring which has some glue residue which couldn’t be removed ?
The Roberts Moisture Barricade may be used for your application as the adhesive residue would not affect the performance of the moisture barrier unless it punctured the barricade. However, we would recommend checking with the flooring manufacturer as many flooring manufacturers recommend installing only over a clean, level substrate. Customer Care

What happens if water gets trapped underneath?
The moisture barricade is a class i vapor barrier. It does allow a very small amount of moisture to penetrate (0.09 grams per 24 hours per 1,000 sq ft) as moisture will very slowly dissipate. A moisture test should be performed on the concrete slab prior to installation to ensure the concrete is not holding moisture. Customer Care
What is the density of this product?
This is a 6mil (0.006") thick polyethylene film. Density is not measured like it is with a foam underlayment.
do i still need to use Roberts seam guard underlayment tape ?
The Roberts Seam Guard underlayment tape is compatible with all brands of underlayment. However, it may also be used with the Roberts 6 mil Moisture Barricade and may also be used for carpet padding seams, sealing boxes. Customer Care
Can you use this under concrete slab. I'm looking for something under a 4 inch slab.

What can I use on a wood floor and not a concrete floor. It is a shell cabin and the floor is wood.
Moisture barrier isn't recommended over a wooden subfloor. Contact technical service to discuss the project further.
