Enhance the look of your home with the quick-drying Riposo Beige Limewash Interior/Exterior Paint by Romabio. With the self-priming, one-coat process, you can achieve a distinct whitewash effect on unpainted brick, stone or other masonry surfaces. This paint features a non-toxic formula that won't peel or chip off and is breathable and UV resistant for lasting use. A one-coat application covers around 450 sq. ft. per gallon.

Specially formulated for breathability on brick, stone and other masonry surfaces
After 50% - 70% dilution with water 4 Gal. bucket will make 6 Gal. - 7 Gal. of paint and covers 1200 sq. ft. - 1500 sq. ft. for 450 sq. ft. / Gal. depending on surface porosity
Very flat finish provides non-reflective appearance and gives the natural lime wash look of historic Europe
Resists UV damage, peeling or flaking, for a durable and breathable paint finish with no maintenance, unlike a mortar wash with German schmear
Can be removed from most masonry surfaces within 2 days after application
Self-priming, 1-coat process and is applied to a damp surface and sprayed off for a whitewash effect
Dries in as little 10-minutes and up to 60-minutes, depending on sun and temperature and will not be affected by rain or normal weather conditions after initial application

A: If you are applying Classico Limewash to unpainted, unsealed brick that is absorbent, there is no need for a primer. Do a simple water test to see if your brick easily absorbs it. If you plan to apply it to an un-absorbent masonry surface, you will need to use a mineral-based primer such as our MicroGrip. It's important to note that the primer is opaque so you wouldn't be able to expose the brick underneath the primer as it is full coverage.

Awesome results and super easy to apply!

I hand painted my house in about 4hrs each side. Like the other reviewers mentioned, it’s super easy and fast to apply. (I watched few YouTube videos from the company) we wrapped the columns with cedar wood, changed the front doors, my husband made the shutters and painted it and trims gunmetal color. Then planted lots of flowers. We love the new look!

You better like it because it DOES NOT COME OFF

I tried this because it said it can be powerwashed off within 5 days. So I used as directed (a little more diluted than 50/50) on a section of our multi-tone brick exterior, was not sure about it, and tried 3 times in 5 days to remove with a power sprayer on highest setting, brick by brick over hours - and it never fully came off. There is a gray color over it now. SEE PHOTO - after 3 power washings! I will have to cover it all now. Can’t go back! Giving it 3 stars cuz it does look good.

Once the ratio of paint to water was well established,...

Once the ratio of paint to water was well established, it was good consistency. Only one side of house needed partial fix up as colors were not evenly matched where we had to paint on separate days. It was easy to apply to get the vague brick underneath color to still show through some for washed out ‘antiqueish’ look not requiring to hose some paint off which saved time & gave better even appearance. The beige looks more yellow right now, hence only 4 stars. Really hoping it will get better with time & weather.

Too Yellow - Riposo Beige

I realize this was created to go on brick, but is also used on interior walls. I’m very disappointed it came out so yellow. It looked different online to me. I’m wondering if ours was mislabeled and we got the wrong color? Wish it was returnable.

Purchased 2 bucket's of the .67 gal & they covered around 360 square feet. Painted the brick on front porch which was orange from the 60's. It was a hot day around 86 & have to make sure to keep the brick wet so the paint will spread. I was super nervous about mixing the paint, but, followed the directions on the bucket & was perfect. Took about 5 hours. Not sure if you're not supposed to wash it off, but, we didn't because we loved the color. It was distressed enough without washing it off. Neighbors kept stopping & saying how good it looks. Lol. Happy with results. Worst part is prepping, masking windows & trim.

Absolutely love it!! The look is amazing and so easy to apply. However it does rub off or scratched with a finger nail after a month already. We know it can give a distressed look but how much? Not sure how this could ever hold up outside.

I loved this product! It was easy to use and gave me just the results I was looking for. The color is just slightly creamy, not too stark white and not too beige or gray. Took lots of time to prep by taping up light weigh plastic to keep splatters down. Total application time was probably 20 minutes! Then I spent rest of day going back and wiping off here and applying more there and standing back to reassess. I even left for a couple hours and went shopping for new tchatchkes and came back and wipes off and added back.
