      A:  No grout! These tiles are designed to fit tight together. Depending on the substrate, you could use a brush-on waterproofing membrane before installing the tile. Just make sure the waterproof material and tile glue are compatible. Be sure to apply the membrane a bit up the walls. Ask if they have a waterproof adhesive. I'm not sure they make one but a little water will eventually get through the joints (especially if exposed to a lot of soaking-not just wet mopping) so glued down over wood, plywood or any wood composition substrate will eventually cause a problem as the wood will swell and open the joints.

        Unique!
        We bought the navy tile to use in a bathroom. It's the first thing people notice! I was a little worried that it would be uncomfortable on bare feet, but it's not. Plus, it stays warmer than tile in the winter. We needed to wash it after it was laid, as it seemed to have some type of coating on it. Cleaned up fine with Pine-Sol. Also note that our contractor installed our baseboards BEFORE laying the floor. He was worried that the bumps would create an uneven surface and there would be gaps between the baseboard and the floor. As another suggestion, years ago we used this same material in bright red as a back splash in a kitchen that had white cabinets and black granite counters. It POPPED! Looked terrific!
