Deck/Driveway Surface Cleaner for Electric Pressure Washers
The RYOBI 12 in. 3100 PSI Electric Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner with Caster Wheels is a lightweight (only 3.7 pounds) high-pressure surface cleaner to be used for decks, sidewalks, and driveways. It is for horizontal use, due to safety reasons. This pressure washer is designed for use on electric pressure washers that do not exceed 3100 pounds-per-square-inch (psi) water pressure at the rate of 1.2 gallons per minute (GPM). This is the maximum water pressure and flow rate. If your pressure washer produces less pressure or less flow rate, it is OK to use this cleaner with it. The cleaner is specifically designed for Electric and Battery-Powered Pressure Washers because the flow rate of gas pressure washers are typically much higher than the 1.2 GPM specification for this washer. Using a gas pressure washer with this cleaner will quickly damage the cleaner and could cause personal injury when the cleaner disintegrates. The cleaner comes with 3 wheels detached but they are very easy to assemble. The all-plastic deck is 12 inches in diameter with a row of bristles around the deck to help keep the water and debris from splashing in a large diameter area. It hooks directly to the pressure washer’s wand 1/4-inch quick-connect coupler where you would normally mount the sprayer tip. Connecting it to the wand also provides the handle to move the cleaner around easily. The underside of the cleaner are 2 nozzles that rotate in a 9-1/2-inch diameter circle that produces a 12-inch diameter cleaning surface. You use the wand’s hand control to turn on/off the cleaner. It cleans well but I recommend spraying the surface to be cleaned with a cleaner first that is designed for the material to be cleaned and let it soak in a little while. Such as using a cement cleaner for a sidewalk, or wood cleaner for a wooden deck, etc. This surface cleaner is not as powerful as a heavier duty surface cleaner designed for gas pressure washers, but it does a good job and is much better than just using a hose sprayer. I recommend it for the occasional home use. Made in Vietnam.

Efficient Cleaning
The only assembly required was putting on the casters which was easy to do by just wiggling caster while pushing it in. This is a cleaning tool designed for outdoor cleaning tasks such as washing driveways, patios, decks, and sidewalks. It features a 12-inch cleaning path and caster wheels that make it easy to maneuver around the cleaning area. The surface cleaner has a two-nozzle rotary system that ensures an even and streak-free cleaning performance. The caster wheels are designed for easy transportation and maneuverability, making it easier to move around the cleaning area without the need to lift the surface cleaner. Additionally, the surface cleaner is compatible with most RYOBI pressure washers, which makes it easy to connect and use. Overall, the electric pressure washer surface cleaner with casters was very easy to use and is an excellent choice for homeowners who want to keep their outdoor areas clean and tidy. It is easy to use, versatile, and provides efficient and effective cleaning results.
I tested this device on a level muddy algae-covered cement surface that had not been cleaned in years It did pretty well on the lighter algae areas but when I started on the heavier areas I had to go slower and do several passes much like a vacuum. Since it was a level surface dirty water stayed in place so I sprayed the excess water off to see what I had missed

Delivers as advertised with appropriate power washers
The Ryobi surface cleaner works as advertised as long as your power washer is up for the task. If you have a cordless power washer it should be able to deliver more than the minimum 1200 PSI for good/fast results. Anything less, I would not recommend. I used a cordless first with a little less than the minimum 1200 PSI and results were terrible. When I used my 2150 PSI power washer results were super. The shell overall quality is ok to good and is lightweight. The wheels are sturdy with ball bearings for rotation. Only negative is the cleaning wire should have had a location for it to be secured on the shell. This will get lost for sure. However, it definitely cut down my cleaning time and highly recommend.

Do not Buy - Breaks after first use
This accessory needs to be reengineered. It would work for a few hours and then the underpart would stop spinning making it impossible to pressure wash the sidewalks or driveways. I took the first one back and then got another one but the exact same thing happened and I had the 3100 electric pressure washer that was recommended for this product. If the device is not spinning underneath its not work using as its impossible to cover a large area.

Bought the unit and used it to clean my sidewalk and large driveway. It did a good job of loosening the dirt so that it could be easily washed away with a 40 degree nozzle. It saved me several hours over previous cleanings without it.
