Thanks for your inquiry, Photomanrob881. The RYOBI 2,000 PSI 1.2 GPM Electric Pressure Washer RY141900 soap operation is not intended to used with high pressure. The low pressure application allows the soap to saturate the treated area and break up the dirt bonds, while the high pressure (water only) completes the cleaning application by washing away the soap and dirt. We do offer an accessory that will allow the soap to reach up to 30 ft. The RYOBI Variable Soap Blaster Nozzle RY31SB01 can be purchased from Home Depot or www.homedepot.com. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to RYOBI and we appreciate your interest in the brand. - Eve

Here is what I suggest, buy the fittings and make an air fitting to hose adapter. Use a compressor with lower pressure, turn down the pressure, to blow the water out of the pressure washer. Once that is done you need do nothing else such as try to inject anti freeze or pump protection fluid. Remember these are shipped dry, so no pump protector fluid is needed once all water is removed. Pump protector fluid is a hoax and not needed if you remove all water.

The motor / pump automatically stops when water is not flowing. It immediately restarts when the pressure drops / water is flowing. I’ve had my electric power washer for three years and it works great- absolutely no problems.

Does the hose that connects to the wand supposed to have a rubber washer because it's leaking bad to where it connects..

Hi Jeremy, Thanks for reaching out to us with your concerns on the RYOBI 2,000 PSI 1.2 GPM Electric Pressure Washer RY141900. Yes, the high pressure hose should have an O ring. If there is a leak at the connection, please check to see if the O ring is missing on the hose end connection. If so, you can use the AP31083 POWERCARE O-Ring Kit for Pressure Washer as replacements. If this does not remedy the issue, please contact RYOBI Customer Care at 1-800-860-4050 for assistance. I hope this information was helpful and thanks for choosing the RYOBI Brand! - Eve

There is a screw-on connection just past the handle.... I'm guessing that it's a standard size. I needed to Google foam cannon to see what it was. I think I gotta get one of those and try it out.

Is this washer safe for stucco walls?

Asked by john October 4, 2020

Answers

If you hold the pressure washer nozzle back 12 to 18 inches from the wall or what ever you are cleaning you will be fine. This is the method to control pressure from any pressure washer from the industrial units all the way down to light duty units like this. This pressure washer can peel paint if the nozzle is too close, house paint, car paint, any paint. But, at 12 inches away from the wall it is totally safe for any painted surface.

Is it op on the uni if I use it around 5 minutes a day?

Hi James, Yes, the RYOBI 2,000 PSI 1.2 GPM Electric Pressure Washer can be used for that time everyday. Just make sure you are using the pressure washer for the specified surfaces and that you perform the routine maintenance and storage requirements. I hope this helps and we appreciate your interest in RYOBI! - Eve

LOVE this pressure washer!
I'm very pleased with this purchase. I should first say that I am not affiliated with Ryobi or Home Depot.... and I'm a woman in my 60s who is not normally good with outdoor power equipment. I was worried before buying that it may not be powerful enough for what I need to do... but I took a chance because it was $100 less than the next more powerful pressure washer. I was able to completely clean our concrete patio that hadn't been cleaned in years and our entire circular driveway. See photos. Just don't plan to spend 20 minutes assembling and do this all in one day. I took a day to assemble and read instructions, and was helped by looking at YouTube videos. But the Ryobi instructions were good. I just wanted to make sure I was careful. I was able to do this cleaning WITHOUT detergent. This is just with the high pressure hose - water and no soap. I didn't think the soap made much difference and this way I didn't have to worry about any effect on plants and grass nearby. I think the photos will tell you how effective it is when you can see the cleaned part vs. the section not done. But it takes time although I never had to go over it more than once.... but I did use the Turbo nozzle fairly close and took my time over several days. I don't know how it works on siding - this was strictly on concrete. I had a little trouble disconnecting the high pressure hose and using the pump protector. The hose reel could use a different design and others have written about that. But that is minor. I read a lot of the questions/answers about extension cords. Although this was not advised, I cautiously and successfully tried a 100 ft extension cord--12 gauge (heavy duty). I was very happy that this worked because I needed to reach the entire driveway. I'm so glad that I bought this instead of renting because I can use this year after year. I also like that it is electric - even though it has to be plugged in, it was powerful and a big plus to not have to buy gas and not deal with the extra precautions with gas motors. Thanks to Ryobi and Home Depot!

Tips for registering your Ryobi Pressure Washer Model RY141900VNM
First, this is a great little electric pressure washer. It is easy to assemble and I found that it works well. Registering the product is another story. First, you will need the model and serial number. If you still have the box, it's located along with some bar codes on the side of the box. Take a picture of this and save it because you will need it to register your washer AND if you ever need to talk to Ryobi about your washer. Why? Because the manufacturer's ID tag, which normally has this information is located UNDERNEETH THE PUMP! You cannot read it! This is bad design flaw by Ryobi. (See photos) Next, as I write this review, the Ryobi web site does not recognize the model number, and won't let you register your washer! So, you have to call the 800 number on the Operator's Manual. When you call, remember that this is an outdoor product, so you want to talk to the representative who handles chain saws and similar equipment. Finally, save your receipt! Ryobi will not honor their warranty unless you keep the original cash register receipt! Registering your washer does NOT prove your purchase. (I think registering is just for recalls or for sending your advertisements for other products.) I scanned it and keep it in a file on my computer for easy retrieval. Again, this is a great little pressure washer and I'm glad I bought it.

This did not get the dirt off my vehicle even despite using the high pressure wash then using the soap low pressure application and then rinsing it with the high pressure wash. During the soap dispensers phase it performs in consistently with varying and unpredictable amount of soap coming out.

Performed better than expected
Customer review from ryobitools.com logo
I decided to purchase this washer instead of renting or calling a company to do the work. I'm so glad I did! This unit performed better than I expected. I started with my patio, moved on to my retaining wall (see pic - crazy to see how dirty it really was!), and washed some siding that was filthy. I'm excited to move on to my fence and deck! It was easy to maneuver in the grass and I really like the hose reel, cord storage, and holster for the wand. I don't like spending money, but this was money well-spent!
