      Great Value!
I’m really glad I pulled the trigger on this package. I wasn’t sure about the quality, and since it was only available online, it seemed like a little bit a little bit of a risk. I like the features, like depth measurement, and a picture diagram of material to be cut. I’ve only made a few cuts so far but I’m very happy with the performance of the blade. I tend to damage place like this quite quickly. Being able to purchase three blades for roughly $10 less than the ones I used to buy is a big deal give me a try you won’t be sorry.

      Good basic blades
Review for RYOBI 1-1/8 in. Wood Plunge Cut Blade Set (3-Piece) - This is a set of high carbon steel blades that is recommended for wood, plastic, or drywall. Make sure you are cutting clean lumber or drywall, as these are not meant to encounter nails or screws. The depth markings are highly visible and can be quite useful in a plunge cut. Though not mentioned in the description, these do fit Makita tools, as well. Made in China.

      Plunge cuts? Not so much
I haven't had a lot of good experience using a oscillating tool for plunge cuts in wood (the tool works awesomely in drywall). I tried these blades on some 3/4" pine, 3/4" oak, and a 5 gallon paint stick. The only thing I could get it to plunge cut through was the paint stick (pine, roughly 1/4" thick). The other two species would allow the blade to go in about 1/8", then it would go nowhere and start to burn. I tried getting the cut started by using the corner of the blade, but still couldn't get it moving. To test the sharpness of the blade, I was easily able to cut a bevel or a notch out of the pine or oak without working up a sweat. The blades do have a nice feature with the measurements marked in inches and millimeters so that's handy.

      Cuts Cleanly and Effortlessly
Ever since I got my first multi-tool, I've found it to be one of the most versatile tools in my shop, so much so that I now own three. This Ryobi 1-1/4 inch Japanese Tooth Multi-Tool Blade fits all my saws, and let's me make fine cuts in even the hardest wood. I tested it out on some leftover strand bamboo flooring, which per the manufacturer has a Janka Hardness rating of 4600 (for comparison, White Oak has a Janka rating of only 1360). It cut that very hard wood easily and cleanly. I was impressed at the ease with which that blade cut through the wood. I'm very happy I found this Ryobi blade and will be using it frequently. Highly recommended!

      Great blades
These blades are great. Have to see how long they stay sharp but cut wood and pvc with no problems. They are the same pattern as so of the big name brands and work with there tools also. You can never have to many of these blades. If you want to cut something perfectly use a new blade and you want to cut something just to cut use a used blade. These Ryobi blades should keep up with those other brands.

      Works well
These Ryobi 1-1/4" wide Multi-tool blades have a universal fit. I used it on my red (another TTI product) multi-tool that I just bought. They're designed for hardwood, softwood, plastic, and sheetrock. The packaging is good. Each blade is protected from the others in the package with a thin plastic sheet. I tried the first blade on a hard plastic hose connection that needed to be modified for a friend. Each blade has a depth marking on each side. MM on one edge and inches on the other. This is handy if you only want to plunge so far into a surface.

Ryobi - RYOBI 1-1/8 in. Wood/Metal Plunge Cut Blade Set (3-Piece)
One of my favorite tools to work with is the multi-tool. I have multiple types of blades that I work with, depending on the project and material. These three blades are great to have on hand, because they will cut through various types of materials, such as wood, metal, and plastics. They seem quite durable. Although I have only used them on wood so far. They are also very easy to load and attach to the two different multi-tools I utilize.

Handy collection of wood cutting/sanding attachments
Important to note - the blades in this kit are for wood only; if you are looking to cut metal, etc. this kit may not work for you. The kit has more sandpaper pieces than actual cutting blades (see list on photo). Also - the packaging shows that these blades are "universal" and will fit most reciprocating tools, including Dremel. The blades will not work on a Dremel model MM 20. I've had absolutely no issues with the blades (and sandpaper attachment) fitting onto my DeWalt oscillating tools. The blades lock in solidly and securely. Fit and finish of the Ryobi kit is good; since these bits and pieces are considered "consumables" the warranty only covers manufacturing defects. No case is included; I was not able to open the blister pack carefully enough to allow it to be re-used. YMMV. In use the blades perform very well; the blades cut smooth and sure. They are advertised as "35% faster" but, of course, that depends upon the individual project. It's very difficult to get a true reading because each project may have different cutting requirements. I've had no problems cutting through wood - but can't attest that they are "35% faster". The sandpaper disks work as sandpaper disks are supposed to; I have no complaints on those. The "plunge depth" markings on the blades wear down quite quickly, but I don't think they wear any faster than other blades I have used. See photo. The kit, for me, is working as advertised - just make sure that the various attachments fit your project requirements.

Improved quality, Easy on/off, Convenient markings
I ordered the RYOBI 22-Piece OMT Blade Set to replace the blades that came with my Ryobi Multitool. It is a nice balance of attachments to the versatile multi-tool. The four different types of cutting blades should get me through just about any conceivable project with the multi-Tool while the sand paper backing pad and 15 self-stick sanding triangles with three different grits will complete plenty of sanding tasks in tight places. These blades are designed to fit other types of multitools and have a “universal” design for attachment. Because of that, they are different design from the attachments that came with my multitool. Happily, they are also of higher quality. Both quality and design differences are improvements. The attachment in the originals are closed circles (see photos) which require a retaining nut to be completely removed to install a blade or remove it. With this kit the attachment point is open allowing it to be attached or removed by loosening the retaining nut and slipping the blade on or off. Much faster with no worries about dropping the nut. The blades are made of a higher quality steel and three of the rectangular plunge blades have both metric and standard measurements marked, allowing precision depth cutting. The saw-tooth pattern on the blades provided with my multitool is a generic “compromise” with two different tooth depths that alternate whereas the OMT blade set provides a fine cut pattern and a rough cut pattern as well as the skinny Japanese style blade to reach into tight spaces. The sandpaper backer pad is considerably better than the supplied one and I will replace it immediately. The sandpaper triangles are the same type and quality as what I have, which held up remarkably well on a large sanding project. The 15 sandpaper pieces in 3 different grips will last quite a long time if my experience holds true. Overall, improved quality, easy on/off, convenient markings. I’m happy to have them

Since getting my first multi-tool some years back, I've found more and more uses for it and have accumulated a wide variety of different blades for it. This Ryobi 1-1/8 inch Wood/Metal Plunge Cut Blade Set (3-Piece) is a great addition to my tool box. Like most blades of this type, it's useful for making cuts on a number of materials including wood, metal, drywall, and plastic. The narrow width of this blade allows for precision cutting in tight spaces. A depth scale in both inches and millimeters shows the exact depth of the cut. The universal mount allows this blade to be used with most brands of multi-tool. In operation, the blade cuts easily and cleanly. I'm very pleased with this product and highly recommend it!
