Hope This PW Trigger Gun Is An Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement PW Trigger Gun for my 2000 PSI Ryobi RY141900 unit. The original gun leaks and is useless, see photo. Hopefully this new gun will last longer but I am not encouraged by the reviews.

Pressure gun leaks after 4 uses.
I bought the Ryobi 2000psi pressure washer 3yrs ago. I have used it 4 times. Today the handle started leaking, causing weak pressure. It just ended up puttering at the end. Hard to believe this is "quality". I'll never buy another one again and I highly do not recommend anyone buying one. Hopefully Ryobi will reach out to me.

Poor construction
I bought a replacement last year for the original Trigger Gun that came with my pressure washer. Got one season out of the original one. The replacement just started leaking in the same place as the original (at the connection points). See the pics attached. You'll notice the trigger is not even being squeezed and gun is still operating.

bad fit, need a solution
My ryobi power control valve doesn't fit my new trigger handle.
It attached to my old trigger handle and worked fine. With both items being a ryobi why did they make a design change in the new trigger handle where my power control valve is supposed to attach.
I haven't found the proper coupler to make this work.
Any advice?

If you have model RY31019, it is compatible with our pressure washers that have a psi from 2,300 to 3,300. If you would, please be looking for an email from us at reviews@ryobitools.com. So far so good, time will tell if this ends up leaking like the original. I've seen thru many reviews the weak link in these pressure washers is the spray wand. They all seem to blow a little pin hole in the part in the handle that the hose attaches to just inside of plastic case. Mine did exactly what everyone has been complaining about. Time will tell at this moment works fine.

Replaced gun
After two years get leaking from gun under pressure, see photo. low quality plastic. It cost me $34.97 tax to replace whole gun Attention who get leaking from connector and motor did not stop, mostly it's from here. Bought this one to replace, will see.

Claims to be good for 3,300 psi but the adaptor burst open. Going to see if I can get a warranty replacement.

Would not recommend. I have purchase two of these now and have had the exact same issue with both...
Would not recommend. I have purchase two of these now and have had the exact same issue with both guns. Inside the gun there is a little bushing that works with the actuator valve that breaks. When the bushing breaks, the gun is "always on" and sprays water no matter what position the trigger is in. I don't know if this is made out of cheap plastic or what but I have had the same issue with both guns. The gun was not misused and stored in doors out of the elements. No reason that the bushing should break like this in a matter of months.
