✨AMAZING✨
I don’t have a large property however, my backyard gets overgrown quick (turns into a jungle). Especially because i work an average of 130 hours a week I don’t get to mow as often. It’s not just grass and weeds, it’s also small seedlings from surrounding trees and this mower plows over them with no problem!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Stopped starting after 3 months
Stopped starting after 3 months of average use. Not sure what’s wrong with it. I liked it while it was working, I had the older model for years and no issues but this one quit after one season. Very disappointed and would rather just buy a gas mower than deal with the hassle of trying to mail this back to Ryobi

First time using electic mower on new lawn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought my first house and was gifted this mower. It was on my radar for a while now. Was able to do the full lawn and have half a battery left and it bagged really well.Emptied it about 3 times and could possibly get away with only emptying it twice. It was also light so it was easy to move around some of the tricky spots in my yard.

Great Mower, Terrible Rear Flap
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mower is great, the battery lasts for a full cut of my front/back/side lawn. My only complaint is the poor design on the rubber flap at the back of the mower. It doesn't flip forward and back when you push, then pull the mower. I had to return my first mower because it broke off after only a couple of uses. The new one looks like it will do the exact same thing unless I lift up the mower when I pull it backwards. If it weren't for that, I would give it 5 stars.

Ryobi 20" 40volt lawnmower
My Ryobi was a gift from my son-in-law. The old gas mower's forward assist stopped working, .38 acre yard. The Ryobi is a breeze to use but does clog quickly with wet/damp grass. It must be cleaned out as you go or it will stop, this does cause the battery to wear down faster. Just over 1yr old and it takes 3 - 4 chargers instead of 1 to finish.
Now mower won't start. Charged battery completely, press start and nothing. 14 months old. Images 2

Great Lawnmower, Great Price
I bought this last Saturday, it arrived Tuesday, it was a snap to assemble, battery charged quickly, it was light weight to push, cut lawn as expected without problem, it was a lot quieter than old gas mower and was easy to fold up and store. What else would you want! Well recommended.

So far I love this thing. I have about 1/3 acre to mow and the whole thing takes about half the battery. It bags the clippings really well—I need to empty it halfway through or after the back yard, but that’s fine. The machine cuts well and it’s relatively quiet. Sounds like a Vornado fan on high. It folds up for easy storage. Love it.

Excellent little machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received my new 40V Ryobi lawn mower from Home Depot. I was pleasantly surprised with the in store service, and assistance I received. I had it shipped directly to my home, and it was delivered ahead of schedule. Once out of the box, the machine took very little to assemble, and was quickly in running order. Firstly, its rather quite, like a large fan. Secondly, it works very well, feels light in use, and is well balanced. I love how compact it folds for storage, basically fitting into the space of my old reel mower. This is a perfect addition to my 'Green' lifestyle.

Can’t handle 2 week old grass
Straight out of the box, I probably had to charge the battery 4 times for grass that had grown for 3 weeks, mowing a 0.1-0.2 acre yard. That amounted to mowing over a 48 hour window.
When I use it weekly, it works. I can’t mow it all on 1 charge because I only get about 30 minutes, but it’s doable in a day.
If I skip a week, the lawn mower hits a mildly thick patch of grass and dies because the battery can’t handle it. Requires mowing the same strip 4 times. It legit adds stress to my life.
