40V HP Brushless Whisper Series 1500 PSI 1.2 GPM Cold Water Electric Pressure Washer w/ (2) 6.0 Ah Batteries and Charger

The run time was sufficient to clean my entire 24x16 deck/porch floor, columns, walls and patio furniture (about 70 minutes, 1000 PSI, only). The pressure is just right for that purpose. Definitely needs a two-battery, fast charger (not included) because each battery needs one hour to charge. Beware, not all Ryobi 40v batteries/chargers are interchangeable with each other. Confirm before you buy. These batteries are incompatible with my older 40V blower. Bummer that I found out the hard way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will go over some features and specification's then share my experience with this pressure washer. This unit has a 40v DC brushless motor capable of spraying up to 1.2 GPM at 1,500 PSI. This pressure washer house's a soap tank with an automatic detergent injection system that will automatically deliver a 20:1 dilution ratio when used with the soap nozzle. There is a boost mode which can be activated for increased water pressure for tougher job's. This unit has onboard storage for all the included parts including a hook and loop strap for hanging your hose. Easily get this machine running with the on/off switch. You can hook this up to a garden hose or use the included siphon hose to pull water from a pool, lake, 5 gal. bucket, or any other fresh water source. With the total stop system the motor will stop whenever the trigger is released. The fan will continue during total stop to keep the unit cool. The trigger handle has great gripping material and the trigger has a lock-out lever to protect against accidental discharges. This unit came with the 40v pressure washer, wheel assembly, handle, handle cover, 4 screws, 25ft high pressure hose, trigger handle, spray wand, 3 nozzles (15°, Turbo, and soap). Self priming adapter, male quick connect, 10 ft. Quick connect siphon hose w/ filter, and an operator's manual. I also got 2 6ah batteries and charger with it. Note: If you purchase the "Tool Only" you will not recieve the batteries and charger. This washer does use 2 40v batteries. For best performance it is recommended to use 2 4ah batteries or greater. I decided to give this unit a try because I wanted something portable that did not need a garden hose and had more power then the EZ clean for bigger job's. I got this and the 40v EZ Cleaner to try them both out. I had a few project's I needed them for since my garden hose is frozen. Then we got his with a blizzard so I am unable to do everything I wanted to do at this time. However I was able to Rinse the snow, salt, sand, and ice off of my car, cement porch, and asphalt driveway. I rinsed half of my car with this machine and the other half with the ez cleaner. They both did an amazing job. I will get to the other project's when the snow melts. When I first pulled this out of the box I noticed it needed some assembly. The assembly looked worse then what it was. All you need is a Phillips head screw driver for the 4 screws. This unit was assembled and ready to use in minute's although I had to wait for the batteries to charge. This unit is amazing. I already loved the EZ cleaners but this unit has almost 3 time's the power and still has the portability of battery power and flexibility of a siphon hose. After charging my batteries for the first time I went outside with a bucket of warm water. (This is a COLD water unit, warm is OK but do not use HOT water). When I turned it on the water instantly filled up the siphon hose and I began to spray. I could not believe how powerful and quiet this pressure washer was. I knew it was a whisper series but I did not know it would be this quiet. It cleaned off my car with ease. I had only used about a gallon and still had 4 gallons in the bucket. I decided to rinse off my porch and clear off the remaining ice. After rinsing the car and porch I used an 18v Ryobi leaf blower to blow off the water and dry the porch so the steps did not freeze. I also dried my car so the door's do not freeze shut. There is a boost button for extra power. I did not need the boost because it was powerful enough for my needs but I pressed it to try it out. I never would have imaged such a powerful pressure washer running on batteries. With the telescoping handle and nice big wheels this unit is very portable and easy to maneuver. Everything has a place with the on-board storage. This is a great unit for any season, around the house, camping, ATVing, or anywhere else you need a pressure cleaner. The situations this would come in handy are endless. I like having this pressure washer and the ez clean power cleaner because they both serve different purposes. Both can be upgraded with (sold separately) attachments. If you are a person that is busy alot and have to do house work early in the morning or late at night this is the unit for you. I see where it gets it's name whisper quiet. You don't have to worry about disturbing your neighbor's when you use this pressure washer. After rinsing my car, the porch, and my driveway I still had 4 bars on my batteries. If you need a pressure washer that can use a garden hose or siphon, is portable, whisper quiet, and powerful then give this a try. I love it, I will be using this thing all year round, especially on the cold day's when the garden hose is frozen. Give this a try, you will not be disappointed.

I have had this Ryobi 40 volt pressure washer for several weeks. I like the convinces of no power cord and ability to use water from a water tank. It works good at knocking dirt and grit off a vehicle. So if you are an off roader it’s great. This unit has the power comparable to a wand sprayer in a car wash. It is not for heavy cleaning like decks and houses.

I was really happily surprised with how well this works. Ryobi did two things to fix big complaints from last years model (which I almost bough). You can now siphon water from a bucket or lake, and don't need to hang a bag of water above it. The battery bay also will now fit the new larger 6 and 7 amp hour batteries. Using two 6 amp hour batteries after five Home Depot size buckets, the batteries were half shot, so battery life doesn't look really awesome. The pressure was amazing though. Using the boost mode I got really good results cleaning my RV. The low power mode is good for general cleaning and you don't have to worry about peeling paint.

RYOBI 40 Volt HP 1500 PSI GPM Cold Water Electric Pressure Washer with two 6.0 Ah Batteries. This is a great power washer you can hook it to an water hose or use a five gallon bucket ether way its an easy setup. I used this the other day to clean the salt off my car using the suction hose with a bucket and was very impressed with it did the whole car and still had water in the bucket. I will be using this in the spring to clean my house siding and vinyl fence and patio. I like the compact size it fits on the shelf takes up very little room. I would recommend this to my friends.

Pleasantly surprised by the power and ease of use of this RYOBI pressure washer and no power cords to hassle with. Slowly I have been switching all of my tolls etc to battery driven ones and this Ryobi washer is another great example. I think this is perfect for home and residential use and can perform most jobs efficiently and quickly. Out of the box there are only a few things to put together(like the wheeled base,hoses etc. it comes with (2) 6.0 lithium batteries that power the unit. It has a wand and 3 types of water stream attachments-soap,high pressure and turbo. You can connect to garden hose or use the siphon in a bucket/container that comes with a self priming adapter. It wheels easily to any spot and the extendable handle gives you a custom height. Use like any other conventional pressure washer just no gas or electric cord to deal with. For my needs this works out great since I don’t want/need extremely high psi for the majority of my jobs around my home.

Ryobi, has stepped up their 40v offerings yet again. This " RYOBI 40V HP 1500 PSI 1.1 GPM Cold Water Electric Pressure Washer with (2) 6.0 Ah Batteries and Charger" is listed as Whisper quiet & i would say that is not far off. THe listed PSI of 1500 seems correct only when the power button is engaged. Comparing to my larger gas powered unit i will certainly be making use of this quiet option. One feature that i have not tried out yet is the suction hose. a very interesting option. Will see if there are any tradeoff's to using it in that format. i can imaging that could be a very attractive option for those that are mobile or a pressured water source is not handy.

I am a big Ryobi tool guy, have 25 different tools. Why, well made and I have the ability to switch batteries between tools. Love it. Really like being able to use a pressure washer with out dragging a extension cord around and tripping my breakers. I only used it for about 10 minutes, batteries were still fully charged. As you can see from the pics of the driveway you can see before and after. I also picked up a rotary disc and worked fine with the pressure washer. Very pleased.
