      Q:If there is no difference between the RAPID CHARGER Mono. OP406AVNM and RAPID CHARGER Mo. No. OP406A, why does the AVNM model cost $69.00 more than the A model? What does the extra price buy? Thanks!

          Stopped working all of a sudden
          The charger worked okay until it didn't. I've cleaned the contacts with alcohol and compressed air and it was just a waste of time. The charger is dead dead. Used the charger the lawn mower came with and that works fine. That's a lot of money for a short time of usage.

            Faster Than Slower
            Ok, like someone stated in another review, maybe buy another battery and make sure both are charged up prior to use? The slow charger....is.... s l o w. This charger.... waaaaay faster. But.... what for? Depends on your uses and needs & 40V tool collection. But don't expect instant use after battery dies. It must cool off, then charge, then it's a 2 hour wait min to full charge...less if you don't need it at full. Better than the slow charger several hours later....but Do you REALLY need this? I got it sent free with a coupon included with my new self propelled 40v lawnmower, but doubtful it's worth the price of another battery. I can easily wait hours for it to recharge, lol...no complaints with it free though. (^_^) ...and small.

              makes quick work of charging a 5ah battery
              I dropped a new 5ah battery on this today and it was charged very quickly. I went and did a little work, came back and it was ready. Did not time it this time but I know it was not a long wait especially for a 5ah battery. This is the only way to go if you need to keep batteries going and have a power hungry job to do and do not want to stop in the middle (and who does). The batteries are easy on and easy off and the indicators easy to read. Nice and simple like it should be.
