Pad backing keeps ripping
This would be the 3rd one that has fallen apart on me. I love Ryobi but I think they dropped the ball on this one. I ordered 6 more and in hopes this one was just bad. If it they rip like this I will have to seek another vendor for this job.

great polishing pads
I ordered these correcting pads for a bathroom project where I'm restoring the finish on an old cast iron bathtub. These pads have a Velcro attachment system that works well with my random orbit sander. I use the pads with polishing compound and the tub is looking like a new tub now. With the pads I was able to remove stains and etching, it takes some elbow grease but it's far better than removing a 400-pound tub and buying a new one.

Nice quality pad fits well, not just for Ryobi buffers
Ryobi Velcro correcting pads
These are nice quality Velcro backed correcting pads which I used on a WEN 5” buffer, there are 3 in a pack. The pad fit the WEN machine perfectly and I had no issue with it coming loose or changing shape while I used it. My car was getting foggy headlights so I figured this was a good opportunity to try out the pads with a buffing and polishing compound to see if I could clear them up. I used 3M’s polishing compound sparingly, spread it across the lens and a little on the pad to avoid it shooting all over. I set the polisher on a medium setting and went to work; the pad did a great job with the polishing compound, no degradation of the pad during the process.
I had used a RYOBI correcting pad first to get off most of the heavy oxidation and switched to these pads and polishing compound. Total time was 15 mins for both lenses. I cleaned these by rinsing with warm water and let them air dry. I would feel comfortable using them for buffing a car when necessary. These would also be good if you have sprayed furniture with a clear lacquer and are looking to machine buff them.

DECENT POLISHING PADS
Getting some polishing pads for my 5 " random orbit sander has been on my list for some time now, so I finally got some. These particular ones are for getting out fine scratches. If you haven't tried polishing yet its not difficult to do with a random orbit sander, and these pads. They come in three different types for getting out heavier to finer scratches on metal, wood and plastic surfaces that are painted or raw in conjunction with a polishing solution of your choosing. I'm using these to get out some scratches that I incurred on my trucks clear coat.( The clear coat of paint that they put over colored paint) These work great, are well made, and stick securely to the Velcro pad on my random orbit sander.

nice set of pads
My Review for RYOBI 5 in. Foam Dual Action Polisher Correcting Pad Set (3-Piece). I have not used the Ryobi brand of pads before, but they are nice. The pad on the back attaches to any hook and loop style of polisher, not just Ryobi. I don't even have the Ryobi polisher. Works on a bunch of surfaces, not just automotive. Pretty nice being able to polish things up in a jiff.

Fits my polisher
I like to detail my vehicles and every now and then I need to polish the vehicle and these Ryobi foam pads work great. They fit on my 5 inch polisher very easily and it stays on with no problem. The pack comes with three pads and often times I get these pads from other vendors and it cost me a lot. The pads seam to last for while before needing to be replaced.

Great For Second Step
These pads are Correcting pads and can be used on a surface that is not ready for polishing but they can also be used for polishing if needed. The five inch pads seemed to be made well and come in a three pack. The pads used with the correct grade of liquid can be used to remove light scratches but not on deep ones. These pads are held on with a type of hook and loop system.

Ryobi Polish Pads
The Ryobi yellow connecting pad is the number 2 pad that works with the Ryobi 18 volt Polisher Tool. The pad works very well with the polish tool. Can be used for cleaning and polishing all surfaces, very satisfactruly. I've used mine for buffing car headlights and preping for paint jobs. I keep my pads in the plastic bags they come in for protection from the elements. Great product.

poor quality
these pads do a good job at correcting but the backing on it is poor quality. this is the second set i order because i like the way it corrects but i ordered again because the backing on my 3 pads peeled off with the first or second wash. i wash it with all my other brand pads by hand and the others have never peeled off . this ryobi pads are the only ones that do this to me - i want my $$ back

Recommended: Great for cleaning, polishing and waxing
These worked on my variable speed sander although the revolutions were a bit higher than a polisher. Used these on a stainless grill that was degreased and dried; things polished up to a nice shine. Moved on to my daughter's car hood; started with a damp pad, a light touch and was rewarded with hood cleaner than we've ever seen.
The dirty pad was washed and allowed to dry and it was still pliable; a big plus that lends to the pads durability and life. It worked well to wax the hood but couldn't quite get it as clean this time but it was still soft. I guess that's the Waxing Pad now.
Good product with good expected life on it.
