A real workhorse- Ryobi 40W system
I wasn’t sure which was going to run out of energy first: the 40W/4amp hour battery or me. As it turned out, the wood ran out first. You can see from the picture how much wood I cut on one charge. The saw cut through the wood like a hot knife through butter. I was amazed with it’s performance

Great little saw!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a year ago and am very happy with it! Cuts through limbs like butter, easy to manipulate even with the extension pole in place. And it is Rugged! The very first day I used it I backed over it with the pickup!!! Bent the extension pole a bit, but still useable!

best bang for buck
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this not long ago and have been using it to clear up my land. To put it simply, it saved me so much time and I got so much done! I am very pleased with my decision in getting it. You cannot go wrong.
On top of that, the 4 cycle engine has been purring smoothly for the past year I’ve been using it. It has given me no issues!

No more ladders
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the forth 40v Ryobi tool I've purchased and like the others like the convenience of no cords and the power and long lasting batteries. I have a string trimmer, hedger, chainsaw, and now this pruner that with its long reach means no more dangerous ladder climbing. Not sure which 4ov tool I'll purchase next, got my eye on the pressure washer though.

Rounds out a great collection of Expand-It tools..

great for getting it done!
bought it for pruning, but found it powerful enough to cut down smaller trees. used it to chop down a couple of Cypress trees that are browning. I use it with my 40v Ryobi trimmer (as base), plenty power to get plenty job done with 1 40v 4a battery. the only complain I would have, is once the saw collects enough dirt in the clutch area, you take it apart to clean the insides, the putting-back-together was a lot harder than taking it apart. it took me a while to figure the process of putting it back together, printed instructions would be a great help there. other than that I have no complains. shared my experience on social media and immediately had friends wanting to get one of their own!

solid pole saw/worth the money
For $100 it works great. Make sure you get your gas powered warmed up otherwise its a pain. Saved alot of money on tree trimming. Would have been 5 stars but my adjusting block for the chain sucked. Would not tighten all the way but still a great product

I'm actually disappointed w/Home depot on this. The attachment was used, as well as being an antiquated version of what I paid new price for. This unit was the 20+ yr old colors of ryobi when they were blue and yellow.
