great for getting it done!
bought it for pruning, but found it powerful enough to cut down smaller trees. used it to chop down a couple of Cypress trees that are browning. I use it with my 40v Ryobi trimmer (as base), plenty power to get plenty job done with 1 40v 4a battery. the only complain I would have, is once the saw collects enough dirt in the clutch area, you take it apart to clean the insides, the putting-back-together was a lot harder than taking it apart. it took me a while to figure the process of putting it back together, printed instructions would be a great help there. other than that I have no complains. shared my experience on social media and immediately had friends wanting to get one of their own!

    solid pole saw/worth the money
For $100 it works great. Make sure you get your gas powered warmed up otherwise its a pain. Saved alot of money on tree trimming. Would have been 5 stars but my adjusting block for the chain sucked. Would not tighten all the way but still a great product

I'm actually disappointed w/Home depot on this. The attachment was used, as well as being an antiquated version of what I paid new price for. This unit was the 20+ yr old colors of ryobi when they were blue and yellow.

      Heavy
Much more power than I was expecting, it really gets through branches. However, it is so dang heavy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Yesterday because a few Years ago I was in a home and had a Ryobi weedeater and edger and absolutely loved it so when I moved out and I sold them. It’s been years now and I’m back in a home and instantly knew no other brand is even up for debate and that ryobi is my instant decision. What made my decision tough is the amount of land I have now. I stay further away from the city and have more land and trees so now I had to thing of pole saws and hedgers and soil tillers just the whole works. What I freaking love about ryobi then is the same thing I love about them now that expand it series. I LOVE THAT. it save so much time, energy, space, and money doing it this way!!! One tool gets the job done! Need to weed eat? Snap on and go!! See some dangling limbs along your way no worries!!! Snap on the pole saw and go!!! You’re working your pole saw and now you see that the sidewalks in other areas need a good edging? They got you covered!!! Snap on that edger and go!!!! it’s just those little things that makes me a permanent customer No other brand have it and if they do I wouldn’t know cause I’m a ryobi customer and have no need to look else where. As you can see from a little bit of my pictures. I have a big yard and I am a lady and was able to use the pole Saw with ease I was scared because this is my first time ever using one but it was super easy and once I saw that it actually sliced to those limbs like butter I kind of went through the whole yard and just started chopping stuff down I didn’t really want to put it away tomorrow when I get up I’m going to add the extender and really go to work but I bought multiple attachments so I’m playing with all of them today.

            Everything You Could Expect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a while ago to trim up my trees, in the past I've rented gas powered ones. I decided to add this attachment to my current lineup. I love it and so do my neighbors (they've all used it). All the power of the gas ones I've used and then some. But no gas to mix, spill or smell. The 40 volt battery lasts forever running this thing. Even my daughter got in on the action and loved it's ease of use.

            Works great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to cut a few small trees in my front lawn landscape and it worked perfect with no issues, saved me over $100 not to buy a chainsaw. Highly recommend it!
