[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to replace an old, corded hedge trimmer. New one of course isn’t restricted by the length of your extension cords! Also, it’s much longer than my old one and thus the reach is greater and less passes are needed.

Perfect Looking Yard!

Keeping it real
Okay, I am a novice when it comes to trimming hedges, but this was very easy to use! Battery lasted awhile for what I had to do and it trimmed with no issues at all. Added one picture of a hedge I trimmed. I recommend it!

Great for small bushes
It works great to easily trim these 2 small bushes. Being cordless makes it super easy to use. There isn't a cord to get hung up in the bushes while walking around them trimming. I bought it at Home Depot last year and have used it numerous times. Do not buy this if your bushes have thick branches. It's great for thin ones, but would not work well with anything thick.

I’m sticking to the Ryobi 18V equipment so that I just have one set of batteries to manage. I’m using these trimmers on blackberries and other vegetation that has been left to run amok for over a decade and it’s making quick work on this difficult mess. I love not have no to deal with a gas tool, and no extension cord. I have ordered the small one handed ryobi 18v trimmer to deal with the remaining vines that require me to manipulate with a free hand to get in and cut. This trimmer rates here takes two hands for the most part.
Final word of advice. Don’t wear shorts while using. Whoops.
