Overall Not a Good Buy
My husband has the Ryobi tool line so we figured this glue gun would be the best value. Unfortunately the glue gun does not feed the sticks well, and the melted glue builds up inside the feeding tube. While trying get the glue gun back on track, it spit scalding hot glue on my hand and literally melted my skin off. I will be returning this one.

Wedding Invitation must have!!
Bought this duel temp glue gun to help me with my wedding invitations!! I used wax glue sticks for my seals, instead of going old school and using a candle… The low temp feature kept the wax from bubbling and made the entire experience fun, fast and beautiful! THANK YOU RYOBI!!

Glue drips
I want to live it but it doesn’t have a drip free tip. One the glue gets hot, it keeps dripping out. This will waste a glue stick pretty fast. I’ve included a pic where it was in less than 5 minutes.

What a great tool..
After reading all the reviews and comparing to the 2 other Ryobi offerings I decided on the small one.. I was a little concerned about people’s responses with the unit not keeping up with demand since it uses a heat sink.. This little tool is an absolute dream.. worked well beyond my expectations..you can get into tight places with it.. no battery weight.. what a GEM….

RYOBI ONE+ 18V CORDLESS DUAL TEMPERATURE GLUE GUN (TOOL ONLY) What can I say it's a glue gun. It works as described. It has three tips and a little pull out tray to catch any glue that drips. It has two temperatures 338 degrees f and 266 degrees f. Depending on the type of glue stick you are using. It comes with ten general purpose sticks. When the battery is installed it stands up on it's own. Very stable. The only thing I wish it came with is some sort of carrying case or bag. I know the extra tips will get lost. And the glue also would be easier to carry. Other than than that it works great.

This hot glue gun is nicely designed. The hot glue doesn't continously ooze out like my corded hot glue guns. The black hinge out drip tray is a nice feature. The battery helps keep the glue gun upright so that it doesn't tip over like my corded glue guns. This glue gun has a nice size and weight. I measured it on my scale and it weighs in at just under 1 pound.
I did some testing with my multimeter to find out how much current it uses. I did these tests using a fully charged Lithium One+ 18V 4Ah battery. I set the switch to LOW and the current peaked at 4.5 amps and then slowly dropped to 2.5 amps and then plunged to .008 amps (8 milliamps). I set the switch to HIGH and the current peaked at 4.5 amps and then slowly dropped to 1.25 amps and stayed there.
I like the glue that comes with the glue gun. Overall a very nice tool.

This little guy is Awsome! We already own RYOBI tools and love them. Always can use a glue gun, so gave this one a shot. It has glued my mop back together. Handy dandy for craft projects, including paper, plastic and wood. It comes with 3 nozzles, and is dual temperature. Heats up fast and is light weight. Remember it is tool only. We already had the RYOBI 18 volt batteries. Recommend this glue gun
