A:  It only weighs about 4-5 pounds

A:  According to the scale in our workshop, the grass shears with battery installed is 4.18 pounds and with the shrubbery clippers it’s 4.45 pounds.

A:  Not really that heavy with the grass trimmer attachment - maybe a couple pounds. It does work really well trimming around areas you can't do with a stand-up string trimmer. Probably one of my best battery operated tool purchases.

A:  First thought is it's defective, contact customer service, they were terrific with our leaf blower issue. As for your grass shears/shrubbery clippers, depending on the model and build date, the stud is either screwed into the power hub or "permanently" attached with a snap ring. If both ends of the stud are threaded (one end for the hub & one end for the retainer cap). You could put Locktite on the hub end and tighten it with a set of pliers... You would have to insure the Locktite doesn't get on the hub, but that should solve it. If your unit uses the snap ring to attach then you have to disassemble the unit, which VOIDS your warranty. All in all contacting Ryobi at 1-800-860-4050 and selecting the prompt "speak to rep" is probably your easiest course of action.

A:  Looks like you can sharpen the blades

A:  I have tried to sharpen with less than average quality. Once the center pin gets a little wear there isn’t much you can do sharpening the fingers.
