Cord or no cord?
It's a glue gun, it does what you expect it to do; warm up glue sticks so you can stick stuff together. The big question is, is the cordless version better than the corded? Well, as long as you have a charged battery, yes. It was nice to not have to work with the cord hanging around, getting in the way. But if that battery is dead the tool is worthless until you recharge. So it's all about your own personal preferences. Oh yeah, I certainly didn't care enough to make a video or take pictures of it. It just works well. Until the battery dies.

Doesn’t work with recommended glue stick size
Glue gun will not advance .28” diameter glue sticks (which fit in the glue stick hole) and .45” diameter glue sticks (which is what is recommended in the user manual) do not fit in the glue stick hole.
Pretty disappointed with this product, and had high hopes for it given my prior level of satisfaction with other Ryobi products.

Ryobi wireless Glue Gun a HUGE Game Changer
This is a game changer not being wired so that I am free to glue anywhere including ceiling fan wireing molding on my ceilings and work outside like I just did for some old Halloween decorations that the skeletons LED lights were popped out of the skull heads eye sockets. I highly recommend it and I threw out the 2 wired guns that I had. The Ryobi battery dremel is also a must have that I love.

Another great Ryobi tool! In this hectic life, it is very satisfying to be able to grab this and my many more cordless Ryobi tools and get the job done quickly and easily! Love it!!
Works very well and is super convenient as all of my power tools are Ryobi and I'm looking to have every piece!

Bad battery?
The battery does not stay charged even though I keep it separate from the other part of the glue gun. This is the 2nd one I've had and both had the same problem. Very disappointing

Bad battery life
Fully charger battery does not last long at all... had to buy a second battery for less than an hour of use. Just doing small crafts... it was irritating.
