Does not fit standard 20lb propane tank for grill
The hose provided does not fit the cylinder valve on a standard, normal, propane tank that you'd use on your gas grill. (Ie the kind you pick up at any retail store that has the knob that is shown in the instructions provided and looks like the tank in the instructions provided). There are no adapters included. So, unless you want to find and buy a dedicated tank with a special cylinder valve that fits this unique product, I would not recommend. Also, instructions say not to use in garage.

Top 5 Ryobi product ever made
I have a garage full of ryobi products, and this is easily one of my favorites. I had a torpedo heater made by ankther brand before this, but it was only powered by 110. The battery option here is fantastic all by itself, but the big thing inwas hoping for was that it would be quieter than other options. The other hesters like this sound like a jet engine taking off. This is a very quiet unit, even on full blast. I have this setup on my back porch to listen to podcasts and read while i enjoy a cigar. Aside from the heat, i barrly notice this is on. Absolutely perfect.

Great Little Heater
Heated my 25’ x 30’ garage nicely. It is nice that you can adjust the heat output as it’s running. Quiet operation with plenty of heat. Small light weight with a 20’ hose so you can move the heater around without having to keep moving the propane tank with it. 39 degree temp outside, 42 degrees in the garage at start up. Ran the heater on high for approximately 2 hours and it brought the temp up to 68 degrees. Turned it down to low and it held the temp at 67-68 degrees. Highly recommended!!!

One or my top 4 Ryobi purchases!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this late in the winter to use while building my shop. I had most of the shop built at this point, insulated and sheetrock Ed, but my garage door was on back order. Temps got down to mid 20s at night. I put a cheap tarp over the overhead door opening to try to keep rain out, but wind would still blow in. I turned the the heater on just at halfway temp and in about 7-8 minutes I had to turn it off. It would heat it up in no time. I only used the battery the whole time and since I didn’t have to run it very long at a time, the 4ah battery would last for days. It turns on easily each time. It sits very sturdy, so no chance of it tipping over. The long hose was very nice to have also.

It’s a Beast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For my oversized 2 stall Garage I run this heater on the lowest setting and stay warm as heck during the winter! This thing rocks and I highly recommend this to anyone In the market for a propane heater, being hybrid it you don’t need to be apart of the battery system to use. Just need an extension cord it’s awesome!

Talk about Heat!!!
This Heater is incredible. I used one 4ah battery for over 4 hours!! Also the 2 stall garage was super warm. I have more batteries but if I didn’t it’s hybrid so you just have to plug it in! I love this propane heater:)

Low Emissions and Warm
Measured the output of this with a CO meter and it’s around 10-20ppm. Cracking my insulated garage open 6in is more than enough to keep CO near zero for hours at a time.
Takes my garage from 40f to 60f in about 30 minutes. Very happy with the ease of operation and performance.
I’m not saying it’s safe to use in an enclosed space, but according to my safety devices, I don’t have much to worry about.

Absolutely incredible!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is absolutely amazing. Heated a 20 ft x 20 ft by 50 ft non-insulated metal building with concrete floors from 36° to 68 degrees and 24 minutes. I then turned it on low and it ran for another 8 hours not half full tank of propane. Low kept it nice and warm in there. This thing is absolutely incredible. Buy one you will not regret it.
