The heat in Texas this summer nearly brought the power grid to collapse several times. My wife and I decided to get some cordless fans to keep air moving in the house in the event of a rolling blackout. The Ryobi fans are very sturdy and move a lot of air. On the lowest setting they are also very quiet. The fans, batteries and charger were expensive, and I had to go to three stores to find them. The attendant at the third store was very helpful and I got what I was after.

This Little Quiet Powerful Little Fan Is Awesome
I bought fan to use during PBA Bowling Leagues and will use for camping and other ways to help keep cool. Well built and its so easy to place on flat surfaces and you can hang it several ways. Trust me… you want and need this fan. You can use 18v batteries or you can plug in with extension cord. Yes it is a hybrid fan. Thank you Ryobi ! Will pick up another one down the road to hsve 2 to use.

Even better than the last model. I like the "whisper" series and the fact that it has 3 speeds with easy switch on the front instead of a rocker switch in the back. I LOVE that itbis hybrid as well and use it every day off grid.

Better than you think it should be
I am pleasantly surprised at how well this fan works. Working as a welder, I’m in certain areas where stringing along extension cords and welding leads to get to the repair is cumbersome. So with this cordless fan it takes one less thing out of the equation. As for the power, i typically keep it at setting 2 or 3. Used it recently at setting 2 for nearly 3 hrs and it had 3 bars of battery left

Awesome little fan sits on my forklift and keeps me cool. Only complaint is Ryobi days do not last long enough. Definitely worth the money ? to me.

The 4ah battery is amazing
I’m a carpenter who also happens to be homeless, this fan is strong enough to keep me from having heat stroke while I work in huge walk in closets and it keeps me cool enough at night when I sleep In my truck. The battery life on this thing is actually crazy . Lasts me the whole night on a full charge on the 2 highest setting . 10/10
