Amazed at the Amount of Light!
I was surprised of how bright it really is. Take a look at the images I've attached. The clamp works really well. I clamped it to a YardStash while I was working in my backyard. I had it on bright for about 45 min to an hour and it was down by one bar using the 1.5AH battery that comes with the kit. The charger that comes with the kit works, it just charges at a slow rate so it takes several hours to charge a battery with it.

Great addition to light family
These are my new favorite Ryobi lights. I have almost all of the other options but this one is fantastic for general lighting. Much better than the area light or compact area light IMO since those are clear all around and can be tough on the eyes. This allows you to direct light and it's bright enough to spread it nicely. Picture shows clamp light on right side. On the left is the 140 dollar tripod light. Clamp light is nearly as bright, runs longer, and much smaller/lighter. Great option!

Portable and bright.
I am sure that those of you that have read my reviews know of my bias for Ryobi One + tools. This battery powered portable light is another winner. It is bright enough to light up a small job site without having to rely on plugging it in somewhere. It also has a simple switch to change to lower brightness. I have much brighter portable lights that take multiple AAA or AA batteries that I have to toss when they die and don't have the stability of placement that the Ryobi has.

Dependable, Durable, and Bright Light
Another great addition to the RYOBI ONE+ is the 18Volt LED Clamp Light. The light is perfect for any job when you need some extra light. There are so many great features of the LED Clamp Light as it can either stand on a flat surface or it can be clamped on a pipe or any material up to 1-3/4 inches think. I clamp it on my workbench or tool box when I’m working in my shop, or on my ladder when I’m painting. The light provides up to 900 Lumens of LED output and has 2 brightness settings (Low & High). The greatest part is again the compatibility to use the 18V ONE+ battery system. I like the feature which allows me to point the light straight up in the air or at any angle to hit a specific area which I’m working on. I used the LED Clamp Light when camping last week and it gave many hours of light in my tent.

Good if you already own Ryobi...
This Ryobi clamping work light might be a useful addition to your toolbox if you already own a selection of Ryobi tools. This is a “bare tool”, meaning that it does not come with a battery or a charger, assuming that you already have that for another Ryobi tool that you own.
Personally, I would have liked it better if it did come with a battery, since my existing batteries are likely being used in other tools at the time I am using the work light.
The light functions well, with the head adjustable from the body in almost any direction. The base has a clamp which can attach to a 2x piece of framing, a pipe, a vehicle hood and almost any other object up to 1-3/4” thick. I found that the clamp stayed secure very well.
There are two brightness settings (hi and low), and the manufacturer boasts of operating time of 32 hours, however that would be with a new, fully charged battery at optimal conditions, and at low setting. The product specifically states that it should not be used in rain. That may be a deal-breaker for many people, depending on where you live or how you work. I find it useful in the shop when working on the car, either under the hood or underneath, since I’m not tripping over a cord and it doesn’t get hot.

Great addition to my tool set!
This is the third tool of the clamp on system that Ryobi makes that I own and I like it. The light is very durable and will last for a long time. The light has two brightness settings. It clamps onto any 2 by lumber with no problems and holds on very well. A great addition for anybody, construction, home repair projects, outdoor enthusiasts, or emergency situations.

A handy powerful spotlight
This is one of the many RYOBI ONE+ 18-volt battery-powered items that are now available. Earlier I acquired a ventilating fan with a clamp attachment. This one is a spotlight with two levels of brightness. The clamp expands up to 1 ¾ inch size and can be used on wood - such as 2x4s - as well as metal pipes. It has a very strong spring mechanism. However, it can also sit very easily on its base – basically the battery – and become an effective reading lamp. Powered by the 2.0 Ah size ONE+ battery, the light will last more than 30 hours, according to the manufacturer. The lens swivels and rotates in all directions and this portable light can be carried by a built-in handle.

Bright Versatile light that can be clipped and directed beam to most anywhere
This versatile light is a must have on the job or at home. It has a low and a high beam of light which lights up whatever area you point it at. And you can direct the light in almost any direction with the 360 rotating base and pivoting head that spins around to your needs. You can clip it to a 2x4 in the attic with its large clamp and put the spotlight on your work area. It is so bright that you can’t look at it on the high (900 lumens) setting and can barely do so on the low (250 Lumens) setting. I used it go into the attic, and light up under my desk where I have my computer. A regular flashlight only illuminates a small, fixed beam, this light brightens a much larger area. And the best part is that it has the same shareable battery as all the Ryobi One+ tools, so I can swap it out as needed. But with over 32 hours on low, it will take a while to drain down the battery.

It makes a great work light.
I am using this as a work light. The clamp works well on 2x? lumber. It clamps more than secure enough that you are not going to knock it off. The tilt and swivel mounting lets you focus on the area that you need the light. With the two light levels you have a choice of brightness or battery life. A third level between the two would be a nice addition.
I don't know what the battery life is. I haven't needed to use it long enough to find out.
